SRK Lounge the It's too early for me to think of something edition

It would be the Internet browser equivalent of the Duggar family.

had to google that reference…wtf?? the horror that must be that womans vagina.

See, TV Tropes is like the vagina of a woman who refuses to stop getting pregnant, and the browser windows are like her endless parade of woebegotten children…

You remember in Doom 3 how you first encountered Hell Knights when they emerged from the portal?

Shaft Agent - So what you’re saying is I’m powered by the sun?

Isn’t everybody?

Yeah, but apparently I can just use the suns energy as nourishment. But I like to eat. I should stop looking at the sun so much.

Galileo used to make observations of the sun through his telescope. Historians generally agree that this was kind of a bad idea.

You are the sun and everyday you eat the sun. It’s the same for all of us.

Well, I got like…I got 5 on it…

Yeah, somewhere, some star crapped out a bunch of shit and the shit the star crapped became us. We also eat the shit that the star crapped out.

In a sense, we’re eating ourselves.

I used to stare at the sun as a child. Hence my need for corrective lenses.

This will become more literal in the coming decades. By 2050, 80% of America will be obese – AND HUNGRY.

In 2050 we are…

Perhaps you’re a Son of Krypton.

You mean 2001.

You’re late.

i liked this just so i could dislike it

…Pretty much sums it up for me. Ironically, there was this gay guy back when the first KOF came out who would pick that team exclusively. Maybe he just didn’t want to quit something he loved, maybe he enjoyed the assrape. I don’t know, but of the four favorite teams (FF team, Girls team, Kyo&co, and the Ikari warriors team) just all had answers for him that he just could’nt stop trying…and dying. I just thought that was an isolated thing. Maybe not.

-Starhammer-

don’t EVEN try to figure out what i’m saying. i don’t even know most of the time.

i think you think you’re powered by normal things but you aren’t. your power is purely psychosomatic catalyzed by your wife and daughter. you’re pretty much a superhero and you don’t know it.

good call! but not how you’re thinking. Superman is perfect example for this.

Superman can swim under an oil tanker and pick it up and fly it to another area. the question is, HOW can Superman pick it up? you could say he used his superior strength and flying power to do it, but that would be an incorrect assessment. i could use my superior intellect to build a forklift that could pick up an oil tanker-and the forklift’s tongs would be the exact same surface area of Superman’s hands. if i tried to lift the tanker using such a small surface area it would snap in two. HOW can Superman pick it up without breaking it but a normal machine designed to do the same thing can’t?

Superman doesn’t realize he’s just a reality bender because he’s retarded. just like Proteus.

just like drizzt.

why the fuck does drizzt’s oldest kid have a cellphone when she’s like 2 years old? drizzt’s hulking up his power. that’s why.

  1. you stole my joke
  2. nobody even LIKES you, dawg.

still rippin. 13 hours 42 minutes and counting. Kristin Davis is so worth it too. you don’t know shit.

(The X-Files is already almost 20 years old? Holy shit.)

Hmmm…I have to wonder when, exactly, I started gravitating towards reading purposefully nightmarish crap at night via TVTropes. This time it led me to SCP, which I know I’ve heard of at least once before, but I don’t ever recall looking at it.

The entries are interesting and not necessarily “nightmare-fuel” in most of the cases I’ve read, but for some reason I think that the entirety of SCP-093 manages to outdo the “And I Must Scream” of SCP-439 despite that being much more realistic. I’m not sure if the same can be said of the full, uncensored version of SCP-835 or, to a less extent than SCP-835 IMO, SCP-747.

Daw. You think I’m fucked up because of something I only discovered 4 or 5 years ago when I was doomed well before that.

How sweet.

I’m trying to remember if this is the first time you’ve admitted this. Probably not.

Still, good to know.
