Ah damn. Just found out from my sis that a good friend of the family has to have heart surgery next Wednesday. The procedure is simple but risky. He’s like a second father to me so I hope the surgery goes well.

Fortune Street with my friends has given me my Monopoly fix as of late. One of these days I need to find people willing to do a netplay game of it.

Monopoly is tight when you play with tourney-level players. Games with built-in allowances for cheating are meant to be played with other smart players. Like Scrabble. Words With Friends doesn’t allow you deliberately bait your opponent with archaic but valid words.
Check out BANG! if you haven’t. Pit is probably more of a gamer crowd ‘board’ game, but BANG! is pretty awesome for seven people + drinks.

Well, truthfully, not really.
Not as depressing as my previous late night article reads but good quick read nontheless. It is amazing how much you can gleam about what life was really like back then reading this than a hundred TV shows, movies and documentaries combined.

i haven’t played a board game in years. Closest was that card game that Serlin made, Yomi. That shit’s fun, but it’s a card game so i guess sit doesn’t count.
