IMO, she can be a battery or a meter hog, but that really only applies to your own personal style of gameplay. She can be a rushdown or a bait-for-damage. She kinda reminds me of Psylocke but sheâs slower, she can put out more damage than Psy, âsaferâ if played on-point, her AAA is not as fast/useful, and she can take a hit 7-10% better than Psy. you really should avoid using EXâs anyway. itâs really dumb since Chun, Ryu and Akuma donât have EXâs so why âforceâ her to have them? Plus, the damage doesnât even compare to her Hyper damage. If youâre gonna burn two meters then it would make more sense to burn two Hypers; which brings me to:
In all honesty, when I do use her, I use only one tactic from Mags: do a air combo (she can double jump for more damage) knock down then do her (in the corner) OTG 214+ATKx2 then (at the end of her Hyper) cancel into another Hyper like Hulkâs or Stormâs. if you have Hulk and use his 214+Atkx2 youâll either defeat you opponentâs character or leave them with about 25-30% life left. XFactor makes it a 100% combo on most characters (what I like is if you do successfully knock out your opponentâs character then hold down the assist button during the end of your 2nd Hyper to bring back Viper in before your opponentâs reserve can jump in the fight thus you can ârinse/repeatâ if you like). I think Dorm will actually survive it with like 5% life left.
Jean is a good charcater but IMO the risk is not worth the ârewardâ. if youâre really that animate about having her on your team you really should never have her on your team without Morrigan and her meter assist. so, IMO, Jean/Morrigan could be like the new Strider/Doom but without the zone damage and not to be played on point. I donât really see the appeal to Jean and why someone would be willing to put themselves purposely in that position just to use her Dark version. She should only be a âlast resort scenarioâ character and not the âI need to get enough meter and suck badly enough just to play as herâ. Itâs like when a team like the Nets purposely suck just get better draft picks. Um, why?

Viper just isnât very good I think. I played a good viper on wednesday who got me in all sorts of crazy combos, but they didnât do much damage and i killed her in like three hits.
Jean is totally worth the reward. First off, you donât have to abstain from using meter before you get to her. There are so many easy ways to build meter in marvel itâs ridiculous, not the least of which is the fact that Jean herself is like the fastest meter-builder in the game. Thereâs a pretty basic air combo with her (no exchange) that gives her 2.5 meters! You can see in the match vs clock that I still used fatal claw and he used ammyâs element super several times and we both still had dark ph. People just use her wrong, trying to jump straight to dp instead of utilizing regular phoenix. Also because of the so many easy ways to build meter in the game, morrigan is really not necessary for Jean, and is even counterproductive because you are then saddled with another character with low hit points, plus you arenât using a good attacking assist to protect Jean while sheâs in battle.

My last BSOD was my hard drive going out and I simply would not believe it. The drive died a sloooooow painful death. Like that Terry Shivaio or whatever lady. Except unlike her, it wasnât in a coma cause I wouldnât let it. Kept on reviving it reinstalling the OS because I was sure it was related to my core unlock setup. Until the drive started wobbling out of the slot it was screwed in. Still⌠keeping⌠data⌠I donât care what people think. Seagate drives are pretty beastly. :tup:
