I think the issues not the kid failed at one thing but at multiple is where it was one of those things where one of the “suggested” reasons to be held back. My cousin only sucked at reading as a child and he was held back because of it. That’s the flaw.
Now, as for one of my childhood friends that was held back in the 2nd grade, he was just a class clown and he was “lazy”. Like, Math wasn’t always my strong point but it would have really sucked if I failed at math but received “S’s” for everything else and still got held back.
I never was held back due to my grades but in HS, my freshmen year, I was a lil’ fuck up. I still had the Junior High Mentality going on and the classes I failed were classes I had my childhood friends in. These guys I had not seen since 4th grade. it was like a 5-days-a-week-class-reunion for us. I mean, I was on honor roll and student of the month back in JH but Omaha Central High School - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia <<<<<that school was a Prep school with a lot of famous names coming out of there (too bad Gabby Union went to Omaha North instead). Granted, all of them were kicked out of those classes before the 2nd semester, lol.
I had to take math 1 and english 1 over during that summer then later had to retake algebra 3-4 completely as a senior. I failed at German 3-4, Algebra 1-4(once), Physics (obviously, but it was filler class), and English 1. That school was basically college. Teachers would never really teach and would never help answer questions after class. “Get a tutor”. Why should I be taught this crap by a another 14 year old when your lazy, 40 year old ass refuses to teach the shit right the first time? And I was never told that before i went to that school that “the numbers meant nothing”. English 1-2 was more like “English 1.5-3” so when I passed German 3-4 in JH i was wondering why my advisor was like, “Um, no our 3-4 is far better than their 3-4 but if you think you can handle it…” Yeah, because “3-4” in the foreign language department was meant more like “Advanced Placement”. So, if you took their “AP classes” at that school is was like a Sophomore in college difficulty level.
I swear, if i had just went to North instead… but the gang members and the AIDS… I’m not joking. Niggas was getting AIDS because nothin’ but hoodrats went to that school.

Oh, most definitely. You’d have to be an idiot to believe that voices match up to what (your idea of) a person (with that voice) looks like, at least all of the time.
I wasn’t ever and wouldn’t ever use it as an indicator of…anything, even if it’s still weird finding out what voice actors look like. Then again, I still find it weird to find out what most people like still even in this day of various social networking websites (that I want no part of), so that might just be me.

So I finally “got time” to look up that The Wise’s Man Fear book that CLU 2 mentioned. I’m rather disappointed to find it’s “just” a fantasy book, I must admit.
It’s rather odd. I rather like watching fantasy and/or sci-fi, but I can’t stand to read it (from what little I’ve read of it). Not sure why and I’m not sure it will change anytime soon given what lack of energy I have for reading or…anything.
