How the asldkf do you deal with idiots at work? Usually, I try to avoid them like the plague but this fdsfa idiot doesn’t know jack crack about the type of equipment I’m handling. Ok so what? What? HE IS THE MECHANICAL LEAD ON THE PROJECT!!! So I can’t ignore him and everytime I try to issue a document, he rejects it. ---------!!! The problem is: he is scared, he is scared because he is worried about taking responsibility, he is worried about taking responsiblity because he has no competency absolutely freakin’ whatever. Today I tried to issue the data summary, and he rejected it. WHY? BECAUSE THE BORDER WAS OFFF!!! !OHHH NOOOOOO!!! I’m talking about the border on a table of data, ok! He has no earthly idea about this kind of business. I could have specified anything stupid thing, it could have been completely wrong or right, he could not have told the difference. ok the housing doesn’t line up with the internals, or the bottom half or an issue with the bolting: pretty freakin’ big deal, an issue on a line of paper (I repeat the cosmetics): WHOAH THERE!!! Everyone complains about this dude because he’s a freaking idiot, but he can’t do anything anyone because everyone else is senior and pretty much a guru, so he doesn’t even have the vocabulary to start anything with those guys BUT I’m 1) younger and 2) my type of equipment, he’s actually had some exposure to it. I submitted the data summary, he couldn’t make heads or tails about it. Everyone else I’ve spoken to complains about this idiot which is not usually a problem except he freakin’ brown nosed or something I don’t know what his way to becoming the mechanical lead on the project. Holy…blleeerrrgh… And all he does is coordinate, go to meetings, but hey I’m the guy who makes it happen, all he does is come up with doc numbers… o wait, I do that. This idiot is not exactly running the show, but holy molly I’m gonna have a fun 6-8 months from now.
