Those Lei Lei’s quest games on Adult Swim aren’t bad actually, would enjoy a longer PSN/XBLA release. They remind me of Comic Jumper in that the comedy was entertaining, but unlike Comic Jumper the game play was pretty fun to boot (For a shameless Mario rip).

It’s because Mother Nature… and perhaps God Itself (assuming one believes in such a thing) is indeed an asshole. Either He/It doesn’t care as much as the believers would like to think… or He/It is just an asshole. Life is way too short… and you can count on getting one of the major terrible conditions afflicting you at some point… the only question is when it happens…and of course, there will never be a cure for any of this shit…EVER. If this pitiful species continues to exist for the next 100,000 years…guess what? 99,986 years from now… people will still be getting the various forms of cancer… people will still get Alzheimer’s when they are old… people will still be born with various birth defects… people will still be getting the flu and common cold… people will still get STDs… people will still gradually lose eyesight and/or hearing, get arthritis, and a nice assortment of NEW incurable(*I’m betting it’s mostly because the pharmaceutical and medical industry doesn’t really WANT to cure anything…it’s not in their best long-term interest to completely eradicate a disease/condition…yes…assume the worst of human nature, and your assumption will be correct 99% of the goddamn time) shit that is bound to pop up in the future.

do you want self contained batman stories or would story arcs be ok? i thoroughly enjoyed the whole batman murderer/fugitive storylines, as well as cataclysm and contagion, but those were crossovers involving a lot of different books (i downloaded all of them off DC++ back in the day). as far as self contained stories, the jeph loeb/tim sales books are all pretty on point (last halloween, dark victory, haunted knight).
Beat Rage yesterday, Shadows of the Damned today. Learned some Cody links in between.
