Mississippi police have arrested a man for allegedly throwing a homemade explosive device into a Walmart store on Sunday because he was angry employees there stopped selling Confederate flag paraphernalia.

Marshall W. Leonard, 61, was arrested after he allegedly threw a newspaper package containing explosive materials into the 24-hour store in Tupelo around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Police Chief Bart Aguirre told Mississippi’s Daily Journal.

“A white male got out, lit the package and threw it in the vestibule,” Aguirre said. “There was an employee on break, and the suspect told him, ‘You better run.’”

“The employee did run and was away from harm when the package went off. It wasn’t a large explosion. It didn’t cause a lot of damage to the store.”

The device made a loud noise but did no real damage, police said.

No one was injured in the blast and Leonard was later arrested for running a red light.

Local county sheriff records show he has be charged with “disregard for a traffic device,” but police were expected to charge him on Tuesday with placing an explosive device.

Man wesley snipes cant catch a break. I watched 10 minutes of the second episode of The player, and never came back. Shows kinda stupid. I just wanted to see wesley snipes win. Minority report was of course going to fail, because its not interesting, and anything involving wilmer whatever that isnt the 70s show, sucks. Megan good isnt even hot enough to make me watch another episode of minority report.

Wesley is a good actor, with a great presence on screen, im sure he will fit in somewhere else.

In regards to Wilmer Valderana. Yo Mama was pretty funny. Heard some legendary yo mama jokes on that show. My fav’s were the middle eastern dude pak attack, an that preppy white dude. They looked so out of their element but never judge a book by its cover. Those dudes had jokes.

Anyway, I really need to learn more about mythology, particularly Persian mythology. I wasn’t even aware that the Simurgh was actually a thing outside of Worm until I checked only about half an hour ago. As far as mythology goes, I basically only know Greek/Roman, Japanese and Irish mythology moderately, a bit of Russian fairy tales since I have that book by Alexander Afanas’ev, and then random smatterings of about everything except Persian (and probably Southern Asian…and Aboriginal).

It’s a shame too since mythology is almost always interesting. It’s part of what made Gargoyles so good (even if the Avalon arc ended up being part of what killed the show…).
