I guess moving forward scorpion no longer exist it’s just hanzo now. At least the sub-zero/scorpion rivalry is over now and boon has no more reasons to try and push that feud.

I dunno. I was talking to some folks about the non-playable returning characters that you fight in the story (Baraka and Sindel (though I know I’m missing someone)), and they were saying that they were basically ported directly from MK9 and made to look pretty. They don’t have any variations or anything, and just throw out their MK9 moves, down to the normals. I suggested that they simply weren’t done yet, but I couldn’t disagree with that person’s point.
So in MKX you have 3 fighting styles to pick from? That sounds awesome.
Capcom have to put ISMs in SF5 now for sure.

Story itself seemed rushed. Didn’t get to use a bunch of the bad guys, barely used all the Earth realm guys, and the npc characters were doing mk9 moves, but I attribute that to them not being finished, or given variations yet.
I am off till Wednesday night, and I begin celebrating 4/20 tonight too. Gonna play fuckton of MK X, maybe even try a non QUAN Chi character!
This bugged me too, they barely did fuck all in the game.
I don’t think I have touched Sub Zero or Scorpion in an MK game since MK2.

There is no “not coming back” for trilogy characters.
His death isn’t exactly confirmed, he was the only person not in Quan/Shinnok’s revenant army of the dead from 9.
Besides Jade, but her whereabout are explained in Kitana’s ending(thought these endings are only vaguely canon for the time being).
Noob doesn’t count because he was already dead and thus far MK doesn’t have a state of “double dead”, though I don’t doubt they’ll find a way to bullshit him surviving an exploding tornado of souls.

*** Alright Lounge, I need help for my friend who is currently having Computer problems: **
He has a 4ish year old computer he had built whose Sata ports got fucked somehow sometime last year. Since it started malfunctioning the SATA drive won’t read the actual hard drive it’s connected to. So what he did was bought an external HDD and used WintoUSB to get boot files into his external so he could boot Windows 7 from there. He’s able to restart his computer and boot from his external just fine at first. He’s even able to shut down his computer and connect the external HDD to his laptop and attempt to copy files from his laptop to the newly created user profile of his old computer.
**However **, after he does this if he shuts down his computer the registry files somehow get corrupted and he’s took to the recovery menu when he boots up his computer. No matter what he does on the recovery menu he’s put on an endless loop back to the recovery menu upon shutdown.
He’s tried using an exact system image to help with things but even that is useless. Something is screwy with his dvd drive as well so he’s unable to boot from windows 7 boot disc. Is there anything he can do to fix this? *

In some mirror matches it’s implied that Shang Tsung is the person your fighting. Shinnok has a variant that allows him to X-copy. Could have given Shang that at least.
