The S-Pen and the Iris Scanner are all you’re missing. I think the S7’s storage is only expandable up to 200GB while the Note 7 supports up to 256GB, as well.

They’re more or less the same phone.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the iris scanner; that would be a pretty cool to have. I can’t imagine needing that much expandable storage unless I had a lot of movies on there, but that would still be pretty nice.

Say wha? They erased Tarzan?

I didn’t think it got all Real like that over there. Infernoman keeping us entertained even without the price of admission.

I know it’s not EXACTLY a movie flopping, but I did say I would use the gif. Chances are they are gonna throttle back on making any more crappy movies for a…

you might wanna sit down bro i have bad news for u

I just went to Verizon and then to Best Buy and talked with the Samsung rep. Both the VZW rep and the guy from Samsung said the same thing- to hold off and exchange it straight up for the new model. Best Buy already has them in stock, but they are waiting for the green flag to sell them. VZW won’t be far behind.

Fuck it. I’m going to use this thing until I replace it. Just won’t carry it in my pocket until then.

No one gives a fuck about RE movies, unless you have a mind of a 12 year old, the director only cares about putting his wife in the movies, and acting like shes the only character that matters in the whole entire RE universe. I hope one day I smash his dick off with my sledgehammer

Deleted Linux from this laptop because it’s just too old, and I can’t keep manually compiling things because packages need new things. I wasn’t using it much anyway, so I get back a measly 40GB of disk space. I may just use a virtual machine on this thing from now on.

Damn you jerks for posting deliciously unhealthy foods while I’m on a diet.

On a side note, Vincent Price knew how to tear it up.

been thinking of buying a cuatro and to learn how to play it.

my dad…one of the few things he left behind before he died in 1990 was a guitar. the one i inherited. and my mom and granny told me he played beautifully, since his uncle taught him and he was an expert…So he apparently did. When he wasnt drinking beer and kicking ass.
i only have one single memory of him playing. but i was like 5 years old so i dont even remember the song/tune…i just remember after he finished i applauded and told him i wanted to hear more but he said no cuz he felt he was rusty.
Anywho.
i strangely never learned how to play my guitar.
i mean…waaaaaaaaaaay back in the day. like…1995 i decided to sit down and learn but i had to leave to live in Puerto Rico for a while. Didnt take the guitar with me. So i never bothered to pick it up again.
Though…i’m a leftie and i was having trouble learning it cuz i couldnt decide whether to have the guitar restrung or just learn it backwards/upside down.
if i remember right i think i was learning to play upside down.

well…anywho…
i think i’ll stop being so damnably lazy and learn to play both. just cuz.
p.s.
i know how to read & write music but i dont know how to play an instrument.
p.p.s.
i dont know how to write the chromatic scale tho.
p.p.p.s.
this is how a cuatro sounds like,

i useto listen to his tape in my walkman all the time while i was in PR.
yes. walkmans. they existed back in the day along with the dinosaurs that i’d have to run away from. me and Barney Rubble.

Just got back from my daily walk and discovered a new podcast I fell in love with in the process, it’s called fitcast and I was listening to episode 80. 3 Nerds intelligently discussing Super Castlevania 4 in depth for over 1 hour from it’s childhood nostalgia value to how it holds up today especially compared to other CV’s to the artistic detail and mechanics, to the impressive resume of it’s music composers (same guys did music foor Rocket Knight, Sunset Riders, and Contra 3 wow).

But what really impressed me about this podcast was the topic about how the gaming hobby has changed from the 90’s to now. Back then it was so much simpler as presumably most kids didn’t have rich parents and games were expensive so generally we only bought 1 or 2 games a year while getting the majority of our gaming from rental stores and since there was no internet all we had were game magazines which were still in their infancy and so we were usually forced to roll the dice on rentals judging games based on their box covers and how that sense of mystery and discovery is completely non existent now. As much of a blessing as the internet is for gaming, the unfortunate side effect is how pre release hype culture is a thing, how well a game previews and the build up to a game’s launch as well as the post release stuff is given as mcuh attention as the actual games themselves, it’s not enough for a game to be “good” these days it must have marketing, and positive word of mouth, and all these other bells and whistles that make it harder to simply just enjoy a game at face value. In the 90’s you know when you got a fun game you were happy, these days with the overwhelming options and information at our finger tips the appreciation for just the pure games themselves seems to have been somewhat watered down at least by the media.

Today is a good day.
