The only change I would make to MvC3 is removing X-factor. Although making it rain on people with Storm MvC2 style is one of the funner things to do with X-factor.

The problem with SF4 (the big one, for me at least) is that it punishes you far more for being offensive then defensive. You can’t really mount a solid offence because hardly anything in it works right, like meatiest an shit, while being defensive tends to give you strong rewards. It’s a very defense oriented game, being an instigator usually isn’t a good idea…unless you have a dive kick that is.
