Weird. My Internet randomly went off sometime last night as I only found this morning, right before I needed it for something this morning that I got done anyway. I’m still not sure why it does that. Maybe it’s just Comcast…
Anyway, while on my little, successfully accomplished errand, I took some lighter reading with me than Death by Black Hole just so I could read something on the short train ride over (since I decided to be a lazy bastard and not walk 14 miles). I took some nerdy things like A Concise History of Mathematics, Introducing Logic: A Graphic Guide and a small book just titled History. However, I didn’t get around to any of those because I made the mistake of taking an even smaller book called Ignorance is Blitz; also partly because I didn’t have to wait around nearly as long as I thought I would.
Oh man. I forgot how discouraging that book is. Now, please understand, it is a comedy book about history; However, the “problem” arises because it’s taken from actual (anonymous) student entries and my being someone who actually likes history. As such, the content seems to split half between hilariously stupid (like 45% of SoVi3t’s posts) and rage-inducing (like another 45% of SoVi3t’s posts). I think the first time I tried to get through it, I had to put it down by the fifth entry. Let me show you why–please note that this is only going to be like half of the entry because my vague understanding of copyright law when it comes to replicating most printed texts or whatever:

Merciful Minvera, I think I actually missed some blatant stupidity in there that I didn’t notice reading earlier. To think this is within the first eight pages and that it continues on for another one-hundred and thirty; this particular entry still has five paragraphs that got included, along with some notes that this same person apparently thought Joan of Arc was Noah’s wife.
For comedy, this just makes me hate humanity more.

Also, which one of you guys posted the comment on picture 12? I’ve only looked at the first 13 pictures so far (and that’s all I’m going to look at for now because I have to work to do with my Internet back), but that one stood out the most…after the idiot friend of that Sheriff Deputy who got caught putting his nightstick somewhere it didn’t belong; you have to love both the fact that person probably thinks they’re helping and the fact that sex of the other participant(s) is left vague, though I suppose the latter is fair and for the best.
