I absolutely can not stand that shit, when people don’t own up to their fair share of the work. Sole reason why I will never EVER EVER EVER have a room mate even though I’m getting a town home. My last apartment, I had 2 other room mates, 1, which made a lot more of a mess than the other and myself combined, picked up his shit and promised he would be back to not only help us clean but even bring in a steam vac. That hyped up fucking bastard never returned, and he forgot some things, so those things I took my anger out. I’ve had a couple more other room mates that were mother fuckers so overall, I value a lot of things over reduced price and unwanted company. Fuck a room mate B

I must co-sign on fuck roommates. Unless you’re married, don’t do it. I wouldn’t do it again. Ever. I have my own place and I don’t intend on ever giving up my privacy and absolute command over all that is within these walls. Having to put up with someone else’s shit is a pain in the ass that I will NEVER deal with again no matter what the cost.

Key to being roommates is finding someone you are comfortable with, and being able to communicate and be reasonable about your shit.
If you get pissed about them not doing the dishes, you should understand that they might find it as irritating as you not taking out the trash. Most roommate issues stem from a lack of courtesy and respect, but mature adults should be able to live in harmony. And even if you do wind up indulging them (like if they are really uppity about the dishes going in the correct order or some shit), ask yourself if it is REALLY worth starting some shit over?
so i made it back from canada today, is it illegal to bring alcohol from canada to america or sumtin? the border patrol asked me and my friends if we had alcohol. we didnt…im 27, one friend was 17 and the other 21. between me and the 21 year old…im pretty sure we dont need to sneak alcohol back home. dude asked if we had it, we said no, and then asked if we were sure lol…then searched the car. wtf?
oh and Quebec’s clubs are copy n paste of america. holy shit french speaking guidos…i almost lost my shit. i didnt expect to see that, one dude was easily 5’5 and had arms that were like 3-4 of mine.

PS - My roomates were pee pee faces who never cleaned (one did sometimes) and couldn’t lock the door or turn off the front porch light after like 8 months. I was like “fuuuuuuuuuccck this” so I left.
Now I have to pay 3 more months rent like a damn rube because I signed a lease.
Season 5 of the wire was so bad it ruined the rest of the series for me.

They randomly, or “randomly” do searches. My group of white kids and Asians didn’t get searched, but I noticed an Indian family that did. About 50% of people I know have gotten searched at the border.
If you’re in your 20’s, or not white, it’s a high probability.
