(I honestly keep forgetting that Street Fighter x Tekken dropped due to how never “hype” I was for that game.)
Ha! Wrong “aloud” that first time around. Damn homophones & homonyms.
…Great, now I’m wondering if English has more of those than the languages that are tonal. Hmm…
Dare I ask for an explanation for those of us who don’t watch Fringe?
Speaking of Fringe, I’m honestly surprised how popular that show seems to be. Not that it’s bad from the few episodes I’ve seen. Just I’m surprised since sci-fi shows are usually pretty hit or miss on the “prime” networks and it’s on Fox, master of cancellation. I guess it helps that a bunch of people probably think both of the leads are fuckable. I wonder if that’s what helped The X-Files…at least on Mulder’s part; Scully’s or, rather, Gillian Anderson’s attractiveness is rather a no-brainer.
Had a set vs Rabbit in AE. Yeah, I can tell he’s a newbie. He’s worse at footsies than I am. GGs though because if I faced someone who knew what they were doing, I would have gotten wrecked. I messed around with Cammy and wtf. I was doing links I never practiced with her. Things like jab>whatever>whatever>spiral arrow. We had a yellow bar connection in AE which would mean XIII would be ass. Still willing to try it though. On another note, I really don’t mind playing AE. I’ve gotten used to it and it’s not that bad.
I know Rabbit must have been thinking “WTF all he does is play Dark Hadou characters,” after I went from Evil Ryu to Oni and then Akuma.
I only watched one episode of Fringe. It was the one with the dude’s shadow that could turn people to dust. Reminded me of the episode of X-Files with the dude’s shadow that could turn people to dust.
You know I think a rather under rated fight scene is the one between Bond and Trevelyan in GoldenEye. It’s a really raw fight, not the kind you usually see in an action movie. I think it captures the intensity of a real fight that modern shaky cam movies desperatly try to capture but fail to.
It has less to do with Fringe and more to do with my eyeball deally.
From what I’ve read, Fringe has fairly low ratings. Threats of cancellation have been ongoing. Recently FOX has approved it for it’s fifth and final season. Anna Torv is very fuckable but I didn’t think so to begin with. She looks way better without her hair pulled back and her voice helps a lot too. Took me awhile to get into the show to begin with but I like it. It’s very character driven and the acting is excellent. Walter is pretty funny too.

I’m impressed with AEs online. It was surprisingly smooth for the yellow bar connection.
I spent like… 6 rounds trying to do an ultra and realized I was doing the wrong input the entire time. I also kept doing the wrong moves over and over.
Never once have I seen Oni or Evil Ryu played, but I hate that stupid ass weird cross up low punch thing that Oni can do.
I could feel the lag because I was not getting reversals. Oni’s mixups are straight ass. EX Slash is unsafe as hell on block. Thanks for that Capcom. An EX that nets okay damage but horrible on block. You can even throw him out of it. Evil Ryu’s EX Stomp is also overhead fyi. How the hell I pulled off Oni’s links online when I suck at them offline, I will never know.
I only like Oni’s design because it’s the closest I got to Udon’s Young Akuma look in which it’s a lot like Oni’s but its pretty much Akuma without beads/gloves/sandals and wears his hair down with the gi top around his waste. And his U2 is awesome.
I really really enjoyed Avengers. Everyone got cool moments and it’s a cast full of good actors who don’t fuck it up.
Also special effects in your face.
PS - Mark Millar is a bad writer.
PSS - Cap had a whole damn sequence where he looked cool when he saved everyone in the bank. Pay attention to the fucking movie. (he also beat up a bunch of aliens by himself to show how great America is, then he was like “That is why you do what I say”)
PSSS - All of the Hulk sequences are gold. GOLD JERRY!
