yeah, The Matrix had a point for some of the slow motion (they were doing stuff at high speeds). that was lost in the sequels though :bluu:. i guess i’m just bored of fight scenes where the hero doesn’t really have a problem with the opponent(s).
GGs, Rabbit. You did great for someone that doesn’t know what he’s doing. Ibuki and Rose and Sakura are all really difficult characters to play. Sakura is really good in AE 2012, so I’d stick with her.
Sakura has gotten a ton of buffs since Vanilla, but you still need that tatsu link to maximize her damage output. Rose still seems pretty weak to me. The only thing that really stands out about her is her back dash.
(Ugh. My fucking neighbors and their loud-ass music. Am I aloud to knock on the wall and yell “you damn kids!” if they’re older than me?)
I’ll have to try to remember to watch that The Hunted clip later when I have more (actual) time and my computer acting like (much) less of a piece of garbage. I’ll probably forget, though. I’m fucking horrible at bringing myself to watch movies nowadays for some reason. Hell, I only managed to watch Tangled last night because I stumbled across.
Yeah, co-sign to all of that. There’s really no reason to use slow motion besides to perhaps point out some things would (nigh) impossible to miss and maybe for the ending blow of some major bad-guy. Not every (other) fucking fight, including against mooks, even if your protagonist has super speed.
cringes at the thought of how long a The Flash movie would be with the current obsession with slow-mo in movies
Technically, the sniping of Captain America happened outside of Civil War proper, but otherwise yeah. That “event” was a travesty.
If you want a comical, sadly accurate recap of the main aspect of that decompressed piece of crap and have about an hour, then look no further: “I Don’t Need Your Civil War”.
No… No… it can’t be true. Not one of my favorite shows ever. I look forward to it every week. It’s not fair.
Why?
WHY GOD WHY?!
Not The Secret Circle Jerk!
Take me! Take me instead! Or… at least take King of the Hill. Nobody likes that shit!
Ditto except Supernatural doesn’t interest me.
I thought the premierce comes out this week. WTH. I wanna see how “Manny” from Degrassi has progressed. I heard she’s gonna be a dumb slut/drug addict in this show.
This has been THE INVINCIBLE SWORDSMAN saying in his best Thor voice:
Rose was really basic, and did some okay damage. I really liked her reflect, and soul throw. Soul Spiral is pretty cool too as a combo ender. She is just a lot of fun.
Oh and her ultra hit everything ever. It was awesome.
I couldn’t remember how to do any ultras on any of the characters I played.
I watched an entire episode of Fringe while obsessing over eyeballs. Everyone’s eyes are like mine. I’m a normal boy!
I just put tuna fish in that same oatmeal I made earlier this week. I never ate a bowl of oatmeal so fast. I’m going to have mercury poisoning by next week if shit stays tasting this good.
Went to the comic shop today since it’s free comic book day. I was desperate. Why? Because not only did my shop open at 10am, I was at work at 9am and was supposed to close which means my shift ends at 4:30. And by the curse of Hera, the truck that delivers our supplies shows up at 4:19 pm. WTF man. Anyway by the time I got to the comic store they only had one free comic left. CURSES. Didn’t know there was a new Scarlet Spider though. His suit isn’t too shabby.
I doubt that AE will die anytime soon like I suspect SFxT and MVC3 will. It’s a shame that KOF, BB, SG, and SCV don’t have the popularity of capcom fighters.
UMVC3 won’t croak it has the silly “hype factor”. SFXT is killing it’s own self.
The two “Big” Fighting game companies are Namco and Capcom. Sure a good maybe even great game will be made by somebody like Arc System or SNKP but it will never get the same popularity as the former.
