My niece and nephew keep wasting food, and it’s pissing me off. Just now I saw a plate of exposed cheese and crackers in the fridge. Before that, my nephew made 4 slices of toast last night and left it in the toaster all night. I only saw it this morning. The toast got thrown out, then he made another two slices. It sat there again, but I noticed it and yelled at him. My niece made mac and cheese and let it sit in the pot all night, after I told her to clean up after herself.
If these were my kids, I would have none of that. It’s either make your food and eat it, or don’t make it. The problem is they make their food, then just go away, forgetting about it. That would be bad if they use the stove and nobody’s around. My mom has a broken ankle and can’t move from her bed, and my brother usually sleeps during the day (but I also think he’s generally useless even when he’s awake during the day), so it’s basically just me until I have to go to class in the afternoon. The kids are here for March Break while my sister’s at work, but it’s a pain having to deal with them when I have to take care of my mom.

It is so comforting being a hateful fuck when it comes to videogames. IT seems like every time I go to Destructoid there is some feature being removed or something pissing people off in a game that I long since stopped giving a fuck about. Diablo 3, SFXT, Mass Effect, DmC. I just see this shit and keep it moving knowing that I was right for ignoring the fucking game in the first place.
I only got to rock CoE once. I felt lost as hell. I died and was like, “?”
I’ll get a chance to play it again tomorrow if I can pull myself away from Arkham City.
Days off are okay for the sake of playing video games. Mostly, I am just waiting for my wife to come home. At least I get to shake it up with a dentist appointment tommorrow.

I had a discussion about that the other day. It seems like Marvel has this running theme of trying to make their heroes into dicks. There was Doc Strange using Zom powers, the whole Illuminati shit, Pym smacks his wife around enough to be renamed Hank Bogart, and Reed Richards seems to be batshit crazy unless the rest of the Four are there. And Reed is smarter than Tony, who is the ultimate human though, similar to Batman in DC. He has no super powers to speak of, just his insanely awesome brain. Reed is smart enough to do pretty much anything, but just hasn’t had time to deal with pesky things like AIDS and Cancer.
