The Skrillex Reptile track is the worst thing about MK9; not because the track is bad, but because it breaks the musical continuity of the game. You have a bunch of stuff that sounds similar and then suddenly Reptile’s track. Hella dumb.
That Reptile track was the best track in that special album they released because it was so different. It’s head and shoulders above all the other tracks.
Plus, that track, and all the other tracks from that album (forgot the name) are not in the game, so I’m not sure what you’re talking about.

No, no it wasn’t. Its like if I was playing Soul Calibur and everything is orchestrated and suddenly somebody picks Nightmare and bam: Skrillex with his exclusive track Nightmare. If it was an entire fighting game with dubstep and then one random track that wasn’t, I’d be pissed at the one track.

The soundtrack the Reptile track comes from is not the MK9 video game soundtrack. That song is not in the game at all. There are no character themes in the actual game itself. Just stage themes. And all of them have the same MK vibe as previous games. The Skrillex Reptile theme came from a completely different album that was released as a promotional item for the game. None of the tracks are in the game, though. Here are Mileena and Sub-Zeros’ themes from that same album.

None of them are in the MK9 game in any way, shape or form. They’re from a promotional soundtrack independent from the game.
Pretty sure I’ve heard the Skrillex track in the game back when I played a bit of it. If MK9 had the tracks from the MK movie soundtrack, it’d be a way better game:

Is he? I always thought Reed was supposed to be top fuck on the pile of other fucks when it came to intelligence in the Marvel universe. Like, Pete is way smarter than even the typical intelligent person, but Tony is as intelligent compared to Pete as Pete is to everyone else, and Reed blows Tony out of the water.
But hell, it’s comics. A lot of writers have no idea how to write intelligent characters, so they just repeat it a bunch of times.
Pretty sure Hank Pym is considered more intelligent than reed now, but, as you said most writers can’t write intelligent characters.

That’s a good point. It’s a fairly one-dimensional understanding of intelligence simply to say that so-and-so is smarter than so-and-so across the board. Real intelligence doesn’t work that way.

Marvel actually has a list of their top 10 geniuses and are very strict about it in regards to comics. I’m not even sure if Tony is on the list, but I know Dr. Doom is (Ahead of Reed even, Doom built a fucking time machine after all), Reed Richards, Amadeus Cho, and Hank Pym.
