SRK Lounge "Help me you nerds!"

lol, I’m liking Ultimate a lot, man. lol, some of those combos will never go down in a normal game, so you should be aight if we play some time. I actually get blown up by a lot of peeps here. I actually put Ultimate down to focus on Tekken for NEC, but after NEC, I’ll get back into it.

For some reason, I was wishing Son-Son was in this game

Million, why you all about Zooey Deschanel when Hannah Simone (aka Cece) was in the mix. She’s super fine, the “I actually won’t pull out and will gladly go to child support court hearings just to catch another glimpse of her” kind of fine.

No, no, don’t fall for their deception: they are still shitty. The only problem is that thankfully we don’t need to suffer through a paragraph of somebody’s opinion on the content before we get to it. Front page is still balls, even more so now with articles.

I’m pretty sweet on Zooey Deschanel but have to admit that I have been spending a good amount of time hunting down Hannah Simone content. She is damn fine no doubt.

Has anyone gone to Youtube within the last 24 hours and been asked to download a Youtube player? I can’t watch any videos on Youtube. Every video is black and sends me to a link to download a player. I find this a little suspicious as the link is to an .exe file. I’m running a virus check now.

I just went to youtube now. Didn’t get what you got hoto. Don’t download the exe.

Damn that was like the first video game magazine I ever looked at

Oh well.

Situation avoided. I did a virus check and found one thing (it was on the D drive though so don’t know if that was it), and did a reboot after. It feels good to be computer savy sometimes. I bet a large percentage of folks would’ve just clicked ok and… well who knows what was in that .exe… clever scheme though.

Sheeeit, I didn’t know Gamepro was still around. I never liked it as much as EGM though, so I only had a few issues. As mentioned previously… I still have a ton of old EGMs, and it’s fun to look through them on occasion…it’s like looking into a time portal back to the early and mid 90s.

Oh yeah and Gamefan had some of the best artwork and design…I remember they were the most “flashy” magazine at the time, and I loved that. I miss those old days when gaming magazines were actually a big deal and bought regularly by most of the gaming audience. The arrival of the internet has basically killed all of that. I’m surprised there’s still a few magazines out there holding on…good thing I never got into that industry.

Daphne Duplaix’s fine ass is still getting regular commercial work… she was just on a Kay’s (or some other major jeweler) commercial. She needs to be on a tv show though. edit— and ANOTHER commercial…she’s also in the 2012 Buick Lacrosse commercial!

*dogs and cats have it so good when they are someone’s pet. I almost envy the simplicity of their life… their human friend(s) take care of everything, basically…housing, the food situation, health. Even out in the wild, the lower animals in this world don’t have anything to worry about other than what the next meal is, and avoiding the dangerous things out there…and finding a good place to piss and shit occasionally. You ever wonder what’s the criteria for that? It amuses me how picky some dogs are about that… they scan the immediate area like “nah…ok what’s this little area over here…ok yeah, this is a good spot to let it out…”. If only you could ask them to clarify “hey man, what makes a good spot? Why was this one better than the area you were looking at over there?”

*I still miss the “Septic Avenger” activity from Saint’s Row 2… it’s a shame they took that out of part 3…so there’s also no “Dookie Derby” demolition derby event. Just the fact that an event called the “Dookie Derby” existed…that in itself is forever hilarious to me. haha, those were good times. This is one of the greatest gaming franchises ever created.

oh yeah, 250 push-ups so far for the day, and I haven’t even left for work yet…this might be a new “high score” today…

it’s not just gaming magazines, the internet is killing the print industry in general. gaming magazines are hit particularly hard because the target audience is more internet-savvy than the general population.

I’m not bothered at all by this. The writing has been on the wall for years. It’s their fault for clinging to an anachronistic business model.

damn this exists. props to the melvin sounding like the 90’s dub.

You can actually perpetually rob your own stores without the threat of getting gunned down. Just hold the place up, leave, and go back in. Wanted level magically gone, for no real reason.

That video took a VERY unexpected turn when the music started playing, i was expectinmg a shitty clown skit heh.

What happened?

Gamefan DID have really nice presentation. I remember their spread on Samurai Shodown 3. They made that game look SO awesome.

Anyone used to read Game Players? I thought that was the funniest shit ever. Bill Donahue and the Box, plus the letters section, and even just the reviews themselves, had my adolescent ass busting up.

Then they were castrated and become Ultra GP. Bummer.

i am guessing RockB didn’t unleash his wrath in one well placed kick because the ho fucked his order up.

Gamefan died because Dave Halverson.

Also, Nick Rox’s colorblind ass jumping at shadows.

The Hunger Games: If you want to watch Battle Royale, download Battle Royale.

I already had my rant out about that, in the movies thread.

not really…its 3 books. at first glance i understand why people think this…especially cause of the movie trailers but its totally different once you actually read it.
