Random question, but I didn’t want to bump the finance thread just to ask:
If any of you are on a budget and are sticking to it, is there a resource (site, book, or program) that you got started on? I got a job 6 months ago, and had a few goals with it. I still live with my mom, so my goals were modest: get a car, have enough to pay down the debts I have, and start saving for perhaps moving into an apartment one day. I got a used car that’s actually working out very well for me ATM, and can pay the bills that are my responsibility. But I’m nowhere near that third goal yet. Also, I feel myself slipping. Occasionally, I’ll buy something (like a DVD set) I don’t really need at the moment, when I’m normally way more disciplined about that stuff.
So I was looking for a budgeting resource. My only money knowledge so far was “pay off debt first and buy only things you will use.” That’s worked out well for me, but I know that’s not all there is to the money game.
It helps to have a friend who knows a lot about taxes and returns, I’ve heard of some people getting back absurd amounts of money

It’s because manga is printed in black and white. You gotta change something up, or readers could -easily- get confused. If the story is a stylized fantasy setting, why not make some of the eyes and hair white. The race conjecture is completely separate from the necessity of diversifying a b&w comic. But you know SRK. Whoosh.
you misunderstood me. i didn’t literally mean it was because they were like ‘we need some white people in this comic!’ i meant that they needed some variety in color and shit, so they had to turn them into white people.
You can’t cheat the government. If they discover a claim that you shouldn’t have gotten it will hit you the following year. You can’t beat the IRS.
