This is the problem: I rarely ever get feedback as to why I wasn’t accepted for a job. The one time I did, it was complete bullshit. I realized then that employers can not hire you for the smallest thing, and you’ll never know about it. Interviews are more like interrogations where you have to watch what you say or else you might incriminate yourself.
Because skinny is the “standard of beauty.” It’s what’s drilled into us, that which is sexy and desirable. So if people buy into that, or just legitimately feel that way in the first place, that makes sense. Generally, the girl that is too thin puts in more work than the girl that is too big, IMO.
Which is funny because being heavier was a standard of beauty. Looking at old art works, the females that were painted were much heavier. Rolls and all. And being heavier was a status symbol as well.
Who wants some free PC games? Only downside is you need to install Origin.
These are all courtesy of @Azure, AKA JabHadouken AKA a bunch of other account names. Thank him, not me, if you snag one.
I have keys for:
Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box
Dead Space 1
Crysis 2 Maximum Edition Double Upper
Medal of Honor
Mirror’s Edge
Say the name of the game you want and a number between 1 and 50 and it could be yours. Please remember these keys only redeem on EA’s Origin, and that you’ll need a decent PC for these games. If anyone is up for Medal of Honor/Battlefield 3, let me know. The Sims 3 might become available later, there’s a 90% chance I won’t ever play that game.
