My cousin loves AMD because you get similar performance to Intel/NVidia CPU/GPU equivalents for like $30-50 less. He also loves using Crossfire, even though Crossfire/SLI setups are kind of wack. Games never fully utilize the 2nd card, and, imo, it’s way better to just dump a decent amount of money on a single GPU. Less driver/software problems that way, too.
I’ll take the software support and performance boost of Intel/NVidia any day. He believes AMD will have less problems next-gen because the consoles are sporting AMD parts, which I kind of agree with, but I bet he doesn’t realize all next-gen engines were demoed running on Intel CPU’s and a 680.
Playing MVC2 on my stick felt good. I think it’d been over a year since I’ve played. It’s too bad about the current state of fighting games as a whole.
NOOOOOO WHY WOULD YOU CLOSE THE NOEL THREAD WHYYYYYY.

It’s not always “good enough.” And it’s often “just right.” If potential employers feel you’ll be under stimulated, or won’t jive with the other employees, or think you may outgrow the position (etc.) they may not hire you.
Ive only had issues once, where updating my drivers made it so Portal 2 wouldnt even start up. Took me a couple minutes to fix it. Other than that its been a smooth ride.
