Zero examples of Rob Liefeld supporting a story with his insulting excuses of commissioned artwork, while you can find some examples in Jim Lee’s portfolio. You know that Liefeld tribute website. Jim Lee’s failure to complement storytelling with his art style warrants criticism. There’s no rhyme or reason to what Liefeld does, aside from earning one of the easiest paychecks in America, that warrants discussion or comparison.
EDIT: I don’t really like Lee but equating him to somebody who doesn’t try at all is messed up.
it all depends on the mentality of the show…since most cartoons/animes are made in asia. like alot of stuff we would consider american are made there…like i wouldnt call venture bros an anime cuz its made in korea.

I dislike Jim Lee’s art for many of the same reasons that I dislike Rob Liefeld’s. And yes, one reason why I specifically chose Liefeld is to bust Lee’s chops, but it is not the only reason. I would enumerate them again, but instead I will direct you to my “overblown, juvenile, and silly” and “Mortal Kombat/Tony Scott” quotes, which are relevant here.
If you like Jim Lee, that’s okay. A lot of people do. I don’t.
Some art is beautiful, and some art looks like the contents of a Monster Drink-addled 14 year old’s brain that exploded all over the page. Jim Lee’s is the latter.

Image was the very last comics I collected. It was Wild C.A.T.S. and Cyber Force. Ripclaw/Bear Claw was “that nigga” even though he was Native American. Basically, he was the Native American version of Wolverine. Around that time those comics were out X-men CotA came out on Arcade. I totally wanted to see a Ripclaw v. Wolvie fight in Capcom 2D fashion. Backlash was another Image comic that got slept on. I only got his first issue. that was officially th last comic I bought because back then $1.75-$2.00 was waaaay too much for a comic especially since I came from the $.75 - $1.00 “generation”, lol. So, I would just speed-read the books while my mom would shop then put that shit back. Props to Walden Books.
But seriously, Image was the shit. The chick that when she would use her powers her left eye would bleed was sexy as hell to me.

So that’s interesting. What’s even more interesting is that with the exception of some of Frank Quietly’s art, the stuff that Lee did on Superman is some of the most dynamic work I’ve seen depicting Supes. The splash page of him flying thru space that Jim Lee did is my current phone wall paper.
It’s not so much that he looks scary and violent as the fact that he looks like he’s looking right at me. And when you’re sitting in your underwear eating an apple, that’s a creepy feeling.
So I went back to the last version of Firefox and it crashed every time I try to open it. Then I reinstalled the latest update and it appears to be working fine. I don’t know. Maybe the feng shui in my house is wrong.

New Supes outfit looked better when Perez drew it. But then, he could draw him in Batman’s costume and you could still tell it was Superman.

They’re looking like they just got out of college. I hope they make Wally as the main Flash but I’m sure they’re going to stick with Barry.

Seriously, I hate “invincible” characters. Unfortunately a good majority of DC Heroes are demi-gods so yeah =/ the few ones I DO like are:
-Batman
-Green Lantern
-Zatana
-Power Girl
Everything’s kinda “eh” to me…villains are awesome though.
