Well when I posted it gave me an alert saying I was awarded a trophy. We can like posts now also. Trying to make rep kid friendly or sumthin. it seems following is also possible. Stalking has reached new heights.

Oh nice kid friendly rep. I can understand why they got rid of the original rep system, because there were basically these circle jerk threads in premium, that were literally titled “premo rep whore yourself out” where prems would rep each other. It was pretty gross. Naturally, I participated, because I was no better than those swine. And then there were neg-bomb threads where if someone posted something you disagreed with, you could very well get neg bombed. Plus, there was tons of drama anytime anyone got neg repped. People could claim they didn’t care about rep, but that was obviously not true. Lots of salty folks who cried tears and made angry threads when they got negged.
We’ll see how this new system plays out. I just want my join date and galaga shields prominently displayed. Rep I can live without.

I was top for about a year. Then the rep reset and I quit the rep game and Stu took over for the rest until it was removed entirely.

The influence of Facebook on this new forum is outta control.
The problem with rep was the fact that people gave it too much power. It was like a form of currency that gave SRK users a false sense of importance.

In SRK’s defence, people asked for this facebook-ish stuff People have been asking for LIKE for 2 years now.
I don’t use Narcissistbook so I have no clue what these Facebook influences are. Except for the “like” button anyhow. The only thing I know of Facebook is from lamebook.com
