[SRK Guitarists and Bassists 2.0]

god damn EFFECTS. MODELERS! BAH! In my day we had a guitar and LONG FINGERNAILS! Thats all you needed!

Not these pod people boss-o-matic draw-the-line-9 fancy shmancy crazy elecx-tro harmonicas!

SHUT UP wah lover!

I use my floor modeler to get an amp tone plus some reverb. Beyond that, I don’t touch it. It is essentially a digital simulation of the “straight into the amp” setup.

Is that weird?

There’s no such thing as too many pedals.

I run a:
Keeley 2-Knob Compressor --> Keeley TS-808 --> EVH Phase 90 --> Boss PH-2–> ADA Flanger --> Digitech Multi-Chorus -->TC Nova Delay --> 535Q —> Digitech Whammy

1 pedal, Tubescreamer TS9.

i just use a crybaby

I am, however, seriously considering a GT-10.

I have an Epiphone Les Paul Chameleon. It’s pretty sweet. I love the glimmer.

I got mine for about 300 bucks new, which was a steal.

Nice Epiphoney

in b4 comparative value shitstorm.

Alright, I want to start playing guitar. I had an acoustic 12 string one about 4 years ago but I only learned a few chords before I had to sell it. I want to play a lot of metal music so what would be a decent starter guitar for a decent price. Also I won’t have money for sit down lessons so how about DVDs and stuff? Thanks guys!

Well, what’s your budget exactly?

I always recommend an Ibanez RG321 with aRoland Microcube for a solid beginner metal setup.

I’ve decided to sell off my Kramer Pacer and my St. Blues Bluesmaster to fund a new amp, because they haven’t been touched since I got my NiteFly. I still can’t believe how ridiculously good the playability is and the tones I’m getting from it since I installed a set of Bare Knuckle Nailbombs are excellent.

I have one of Rondo’s Agile guitars, and it’s pretty good. It was in the neighborhood of $200.

i picked up a sekova Bison for 70bucks… looks awesome and plays nice… anyone know anything about sekova guitars? anyone else got a bison? i have been playing it at shows and its got a real interesting sound. i think they were made in eastern europe during the 60s…
http://www.guitar-museum.com/guitar-20088-60-s-vintage-Sekova-Bison-Guitar-Teisco mine is a greenburst.

found a small pic of mine online http://www.gbase.com/files/store_images/Gear/1829834/p1_uoixstnic_st.jpg

ah, a teisco. I used to have a similar model…mine had on/off switches for the pickups.

I always thought it might be fun to have a kill switch, but you essentially get that with Gibson-style controls.

Postman brought me something awesome yesterday.

The sound on this is fucking phenomenal. It’s a Marshall JCM1960A and Bugera 333XL.

Damn man… nice. Take a video or something.

Hellz Yeah!!! Hello Kitty Metal FTW!!!

Still waiting on my Agile to get back from the shop with the SD Custom Custom installed. In the meantime, here’s a treat:
