We got a lot of space left, but our guild pretty dead too. Either people playing something else,bored with the game, or too busy to play. Currently I’m just playing Vindictus and got school keeping me busy.
i’m shufflin back and forth between console, job huntin, and poppin in and out to either lvl the zerker/monk or work on my Soul Bender/Grappler on VPs. I really wish PvP wasn’t the only “fast” way to get VPs. it’s too much of a hassle and I already don’t care for PvP.
Too bad, seems like a fun game so far… just switched to a fighter after finding some pretty purple… boxing gloves or something.
Pretty much this. Most of the people in the guild are older and don’t have that much free time and we have requirements to enter the guild such as posting on this site unlike other guilds that spam and invite anyone. Also we don’t allow hacking (such as autohotkey), scamming, and the like. Some of us run the higher level dungeons while a few others randomly PvP. In addition to that, some of our characters are in other guilds so it may seem a little empty at times. When people are free we can get like 20-something people at times but usually it’s rather quiet.
PvP is hard to get into. There are so many classes and builds and each person has their own thing they like. Also I think you were fighting mostly gunners and yea, that gets boring and on top of all that you’re running a PvE build on a class that is on the lower PvP tier. From what I have seen of your gameplay, your grappler should be more fun to play in PvP imo. Anyways, if you want to PvP a little later tonight let me know.
only time I really see a lot of people on now is when a patch drops that’s worth getting on. Otherwise no one’s on.
How easy would you say it is for a PvE Summoner at level 50+, to solo Tower of Death?
You have to resummon every room and really conserve mana. Having max wisp with a wisp ava and rod really helps to conserve mana and clear the room. Flower also helps with more difficult rooms. My summoners without max flower have a more difficult time.
Sucks to hear that the SRK isn’t really active either, but it’s still most likely better than the one I’m in now. J>active guild…?
Are you surprised? Dungeon Fighter Online was designed to get everyone hooked and take their NX credits in the long term. And it failed miserable. You cannot get anywhere with your characters if you don’t spend NX on Remy Touches, Life Tokens, or Avatars. Waste of money and time. I had a lot fun back in July/August. But in hindsight I glad I stopped playing and moved on to other “normal” games.
You don’t have to spend real money. Remy and tokens aren’t necessary, you get up to 3 free tokens daily, plus from guild rewards. Remy aren’t needed, you can farm pots or just buy them with gold from the AH. I never use pots, I just sell them off on the AH. Making a good build and learning counter strategies makes the difference. Avatars can also be bought with gold. Although I did spend a large amount of NX on getting safe upgrades for all my characters. You don’t need to spend money but I agree about the time part, if you want to save time you can buy NX. For those new to DFO, I recommend focusing on only one character and playing a fixed damage class helps as it removes the dependency on the weapon.
I haven’t spent a dime of real money in this game and 3/4 of my characters have avatar junk from buying off people. all the “NX tokens” I got were from free polls.
I’ve spent over 150$, such a waste… I wouldn’t recommend do it for anyone.
If you’ve got the money I think it’s worth it to buy one of the avatar token pack things like 20 tokens for whatever discount, then just get bind cubes. You can get the stat and the look you want without fucking with random chance, and possibly get something good in the process. I’ll probably drop 20-40 on it at some point so I can respec and get a couple of avatars I wanted. I figure I’ve played the game enough that giving them 40 is justified.
Did anyone ever get the safe drop owl thing? Does it do much damage at max level?
Damage is worthless on safe drop even with diamond safe. For legit players it’s kind of pointless, it’s mostly for bots running the same dungeon to save time running to loton for disassemble and safe to deposit.

Well, anyways I haven’t been doing much in this game except hopping on to have some pvp sessions with people. When you see any of my alts on, don’t be afraid to ask to join up or something to have a few matches in practice. On a relevant note, the god damn prices of clear cube fragments are killing me, I haven’t run pve dungeons in a while but in 1 sitting of pvp I run through hundreds of cubes. So i’m still in dfo poverty 
I just do shoulder combos on my pve nen in pvp with non-cube skills and don’t lion reset so I don’t waste cubes. 
I think tiger flash is killing your cubes.
If you want easy cubes you can farm floating and turn stuff in for cubes.
If you can run higher level dungeon like vilmark easily without wasting cubes then do that and sell terranite and stuff for gold and then buy clear cubes. Actually, I just remembered that I planned on farming vilmark and never got around to doing that and I think I owe someone terranite and I feel ashamed I don’t remember who…
the PvP grind for VP is really what’s turning me off on logging on more than I usually do. Shit’s not fun.
You and Fuz both need VP, if you want VP I can pvp with you. If anything, I can let you get free wins because if I have a low win rate I get kicked less from pvp rooms.
This thread and IRC channel make me sad. Also I got a Botis Egg from my treasure key thing, hooray. Shame they don’t let you sell them on auction channel =/
