We have guilds now so we use guild chat. IRC is still good for real time communication when DFO is down or guild chat is too crowded.

I’m ballin in real life so I spent NX on keys and didn’t get any eggs but I got an egg with the free key from event lol. I’m going to buy probably like 100 more keys because I’m bored and I have too much money. If I get enough eggs, I’m thinking about having an egg giveaway or contest just for SRK. Your odds are much better than Nexon’s contest since someone will be guaranteed to win. I might be out of state Friday to Tuesday and not be online though.
Alright so now I’m ready to play again. Got a level 30 PvE Witch (Oppurtuniy) and a level 38 PvE Asura (Obscure). So yeah if anyone would like to add me that’d be awesome.

anyway, we need to start setting up PvP grinding sessions for awakenings. I can’t do Illusions/Death runs 5 times a day everyday. It’s boring and whack. (and shit rewards). I got the 47 Bender and grap who needs like 600ish more along with the Zerker needing do break around the same amount in a few levels.
there’s a few out there (check around on DFOsource). I was actually looking at the latest tier list in KDnF PvE which had Crusaders at God tier and grapplers, soul benders, summoners, and I think Battle Mage Solo and 1 type of elementalist right behind it.
Then Brawler, Monk, Berserker and Ranger with +11 wep being the worst. 2nd impact update apparently shifts a lot of shit up PvEwise.
PvPwise, I dunno how it is in DFO. But it won’t matter as Rouges from what I understand, damn near make PvP broken and very 1 sided in Arad/DnF.
I believe they have a balance patch to tone down rogues and necros already. In the recent DNF leagues they rogues and necros were participating and before they were banned.
This is a fight with that great grappler guy who sometimes dresses up as a panda (not in this video ) vs. a rogue.

In DFO right now I would say mech is the strongest right now in pvp because their runaway is very damn fast and a lot of them only need to hit you with a few bombs to kill you.
Striker and Grap are arguably the top of the of the fighter class, with either or having advantages over the other (though graps get screwed in lag because it drops the grabs). Brawler does insane damage but has less approaches than striker and grap. Nen is the worst of the fighters because they don’t have any huge damage without cubes skills (which come into play 30 seconds after the match start) and worst approaches, with their skills more along defensive zoning (the dopples and bubble they would be using a lot and helping set up offense).
Most classes have some way of doing good damage in dfo. But right now Saders don’t have much because they only like 2 attack moves, but once Priest patch comes in october they will be getting more skills so something like an offensive sader would become more viable. Right now in DFO though its hard for them to approach most classes well.

Just started today, have a level 9 F-Gunner… Are cancel launchers actually viable? Or just for flash? And what do Fire Demon scrolls do? They’re purple so I assume they’re importantish, but just got a few of them.
If you mean the rising shot/marilyn rose cancels, I don’t think either of them are worth getting if you’re going to advance to a subclass other than ranger. Rising shot cancel’s definitely worth getting for a PvP ranger and although it’s not necessary for PvE, it doesn’t hurt to have it for that either unless you plan on going full PvE. Marilyn Rose cancel is really only good for PvP when you have enough attack speed to keep your opponent in the air with normal attacks (from the PvP vids I’ve seen). Fire Demon scrolls are used to get the stones that allow you to activate Hell mode in Sky Tower dungeons which makes me wonder…do those scrolls drop in Grand Flores dungeons or did you somehow get some Sky Tower runs in?
I had just read an article someone had written about an ( I assume ) PvP oriented launcher build that involved getting a lot of skills to just level 5 then grabbing the cancel, rose and shot included IIRC, and juggling things… Gonna stop the F-gunner at 18 until I figure out what to make her.
As for the scrolls…a lost treasure dropped in Grand Flores and I had gotten a skeleton key from some sort of promotion, the scrolls were inside it.
The build you’re talking about is more of a gimmick build, for trolling noobs in basic and making flashy combo videos. A lot of it won’t really work that well in real high level play. The first 2 cancels (Jack Spike/Rising Shot) are useful for pretty much any gunner, especially after priest patch when they get reduced to 0 and 10 SP, respectively. Things like cancel laser/firepillar/steyr really aren’t needed.
