Looks pretty good so far. The point system is supposed to encourage creativity, but it looks like people are still trying to get as close to the standard as possible.

That rage quit. Such awful decision making, I don’t know what is worse. This guy hits the timer on me after pumping up Lucario and gets owned by a choice scarf earthquake.
Lucario is overpowered with the correct decision making, but he’s hard to use. Just like Blaziken, he’s an extremely scary offensive force, but you have to know when to hold em, and when to fold em. Lucario and Blaziken can’t stay in against everything.
not going to lie, he did get haxed out a bit, getting crit hit 3 times, missing focus blast only to be hit by one later, i would’ve been salty when you get nothing
That’s understandable, but he should know how the game works by now. If you don’t want to miss, pick a more accurate move. Besides, he was crying from the beginning… Before the match even started. He got a couple crits himself, and one of the crits against him didn’t matter.
Yeah, I would’ve been slightly more sympathetic if he wasn’t bitching from the start of the match. Who the fuck holds a match hostage just because his opponent is using Geodude?
I had a guy wait 2 minutes on Showdown to decide what to do against my Persian. And a bunch of forfeits. What? Can people not be bothered to fight something barely used?

At least Showdown has a Battle Timer. At the moment the Pokebattle Beta is without one. Just a dick move all around.

I faced a dude earlier who requested an OU battle with the tagline "No one can beat me!’ and had a standard Rotom-Whore OU team with one Uber addition- a Mewtwo named GoodGameNoob who he graciously saved for last. Needless to say I thrashed him, but the funny part was the extremely long pauses he made once he realized his gameplan was being torn to shreds. Every turn near his demise he was contemplating ragequitting.

Was this one WiFi? Sounds similar to my story where some guy’s message was “battle me i dare u”. He was pretty bad. Like someone mentioned before, people that have bravado in their messages are usually pretty bad.
