Why the fuck are people apologizing for move misses, critical hits, and missed turns from paralysis/confusion?

Don’t do that shit.** It’s part of the game, and if some jackass gets mad because his Focus Blast missed all five times or his mon got killed because it couldn’t move, that’s his problem, not yours.
That’s like apologizing for getting a Happy Birthday in Marvel, or perfecting someone… GTFO with that shit.

The only time I really feel sorry is when he misses a 95% move. Because I know that feel. And it’s gotdamn enraging. NO ONE SHOULD EVER MISS TACKLE :mad:
Tackle got bumped up to 100% in B/W IIRC.
That’s my point, though. 95 is not 100, meaning you have a chance to miss. Maybe not a large chance, but it should be something to keep in mind.
Didn’t play Black/White. I only played up to Platinum on actual cartridge. So missing TACKLE (and or moves with 95%) is still bullshit :mad:
I’ve also seen instances where 95% moves have missed 3 times in the same battle. Sorry. I just don’t think there’s anything wrong with sympathizing with your opponent when that happens.
I feel you on that. We all know the pain of that missed Megahorn or High Jump Kick recoil…
My problem is with people saying “I’m sorry” when that happens like its their fault.
Unless you’re carrying around Bright Powder/have Sand Veil active*(which you probably won’t, considering all the crying over Evasion, but that’s another tangent)*, you are not the cause of their missing, and bear no responsibility to protect their feelings.

Octillery put in plenty of work though. Leavenny got to put it’s hazards up and then just dies. Runs red card so forces an unwanted switch.

cryogonal is terrible in OU, straight up terribad, if you really want an ice type rapid spinner, use avalugg, his physical defense is so high

Landorus is in OHKO range for both after SR. Getting revenged by some of the most common Pokemon in the metagame would hurt the viability of any set up sweeper.

Idk, but that tier is a mess… It’s not even just that either, it’s the attitudes of the people that follow Smogon’s tiers(they suck) and regulations(which I’m cool with, for the most part).

This…doesn’t make sense to me. You can’t complain that something is so powerful to the point where people shouldn’t be allowed to use it when you’re going to use the most powerful (Legendary) Pokemon Smogon allows anyway.
Legendaries should never be allowed in a format like the one smogon uses. regardless of use, keep them in standard play. LOL at anyone crying foul play (heh) over Klefki.
This. Genesect is bullshit, straight up bullshit. This is from someone who has never lost because of one, but the fact that this pokemon is allowed and others are banned is laughable. I wish smogoners would just admit they like using some Pokemon over others because they fit their metagame, and so a silent consensus has been made to keep some things that obviously should be banned in.
I still have yet to face a Manaphy or Victini though. They sound like they might be trouble on paper.
Meh on Victini and thankfully it seems absolutely no one knows how to use Manaphy properly.
