Escavalier is a great AV user right now. He can check some really strong pokes atm including lucario, mega venu, ttar (non FB), aegislash, and a decent chunk of other solid pokes. He crushes fairies as well.

Use overcoat so you can switch into powder moves for free as well.
if you want him to check aegis play it safe and run 0 spe and brave so you always attack after him to gurantee a OHKO with knock off or drill run even after the -2.
There’s more AV users than people think. Just takes Some out of the box thinking.
AV escavalier actually sounds decent
most of the pokemon that could use AV would lose a lot of moves that make them good, for example, amoongus really wants spore
AV slowbro is pretty good, regular slowbro is better because of slack off, AV excadrill is good, i like the balloon better because EQ is the most common move used to kill him
I want a version that doubles both defenses but prevents attacking moves from working.

Straitjacket- Doubles both Defense and Sp. Defense, but prevents the use of attacking moves. (aka, I auto-lose to Taunt)

A “straightjacket” woild be WAY TOO helpful for my team. Why am I addidcted to stressing making use of RU/UU pokemon? Im gonna lose everything.

All you need for nidoking is speed dude hits like a truck. I still haven’t decided if I like Sludge wave or poison jab on him better to hit fairies though. I think Sludge wave is a good bet since most are going bold with defense EV’s to get a mixed defense like sylveon.
So set him up with sticky web or pass a speed boost and maybe a nasty plot to him if you really want to see him wreck. He gets wrecked by priority though 
Y’all dudes wanting to branch out need to start playing Doubles/Triples- You can pretty much do whatever you want and make it work if your strategy/synergy is sound enough, you don’t have to sweat the Sneaky Pebbles, and all these “broken” Pokémon are far, far more manageable when you can just gang-rape their asses…
Well no shit since Game Freak balances the game around Doubles to begin with, hence MegaKanga not being able to Double Up on AoE moves.
sludge wave is stronger and easier to use thanks to his special movepool being fucking gigantic (and also letting you only have to EV in one stat)
his typing isn’t exactly the best and neither is his speed which gives him quite a hard time to switch in and fuck shit up

His special stat is only base 85 (I think), how does he hit hard?
Nidoking’s Special Movepool grants it far greater variety and coverage, though.
I myself prefer a somewhat mixed set, but I’m insane…

I know his physical attacks are boosted like poison jab, rock slide, iron tail, ice punch…
Do you put him with a choice specs to do damage??
he gets sheer force and all his special moves (that he would use) get the sheer force boost unlike his physical moves
and earth power > earthquake, fire blast > fire punch, etc
