Put my name down.
I want to sign up, but that means I’d have to stop eating ice cream, god dammit, and I don’t fucking want to stop eating ice cream.
Alright, fine. I’ll do it again.
i’ll do second season also. i can see myself doing alot better this time.
I don’t even lift pls believe
AYAYAYAYAYYYY~~~~
If you were maintaining 10-12% body fat then you were obviously doing a fair bit of working out, in which case it really didn’t matter what you ate and your body most likely needed that sugar.
I recommend Paul Chek’s work. I just bought one of his books. Another good read, Physical Degenration and Nutrition by Weston A. Price.
Sign me up!
Started already, rather than waiting til August. Not in it for prizes; in if for being a lazy, fat f*ck.
Stats (will update in August):
[details=Spoiler]Weight: 215 lbs
Height: 6’0
Age: 26
Goal: A lean 190 "useful weight"
Weakness: Energy drinks, takeout, plane food, vidya games
Story: Worked up on the West Coast of Glasgow with a lifestyle of football, rock climbing, running and changing aircraft wheels in the snow and rain; big calorie burns. Moved to a supervisory role in London, meaning 1000 miles a week commuting, energy drinks, takeout and ready-meals and “no time” to burn it off.
Plan: No excuses, no energy drinks, no takeout, planned & scheduled home-cooked eating, scheduled sleeping, not using the car on days off, running twice a week, kettle bell routine twice a week, bodyweight exercises twice a week[/details]
I can post videos too, this guy eats 500g of fructose everyday and he’s leaner than 99% of Americans. I’m not active at the moment and I maintain my weight with a diet high in sugar coming from fruits and milk mostly. I’m done btw.
Durian Rider leads a terrible diet and he is definitely not lean. He is a definition of a skinny fat. He is thin as a byproduct of carrying very little muscle mass on his frame. I imagine his blood work would return terrible results.
Skinny fat? What the fuck are you smoking? His girlfriend is on the same diet and she’s lean. He showed the results of his blood tests and everything was fine.
not all sugars are created equal.
fructose’s biochemistry isn’t the same as surcoses, or lactose, or any assorted polysaccharides found in bread…
Y’all know everyone’s different right?
Why we arguing about dumb shit? Everyone has their beliefs. Think what you want to think and keep it moving

I disagree.
People need to share what they’ve done/heard, results, whether they think it works or not, etc. And feedback from these statements (positive or negative) is worthwhile. Even when people slam my eating plan (I do the paleo diet, BTW), I appreciate it.
If you don’t like the conversation, don’t participate in it and keep it moving.
That’s not what those two or three posted. Saying everyone has to eat 40.663 grams of fructose and 22.5556 grams of ____ is nonsense.
Being in tune with one’s body and eating wholesome foods are the most important thing.
Edit: But yes, sharing what one has done to a success is most welcomed.
And also pinning it to one thing like sugar or fat with disregard of the while picture is utter nonsense.
There are no secrets to this:
Eat well, sleep well, train well
welp here is my season 1 results, dropped 45 but still have a loooooooooooooong way to go
That’s good man.
I got back on the scale and found out that I lost 10 lbs from around the start of season 1 to now. Half-way through that that time I faltered and stopped doing my exercise, but it looks like my overall effort has paid off a bit.
