Well, after all this time, my Viper has gotten a bit better. My execution has gotten worse in certain areas(no regular FFF combos) but has improved in other areas.(yay, I can do SJC FADC>sweep in matches Uryo style!) I still have trouble playing consistently but it’s gotten better.
I’m looking forward to playing as Viper once again in SSFIV and seeing what changes they’ll make to her.

I like how marn stuck it out with viper when Mike ross picked Honda, her worst matchup, but Combofiend picked Abel instead of viper because Viper/cammy is barely in Cammys favor.
Cammy is pretty bad too. Flash thinks it’s 7-3 Cammy, but he still should have stuck with Viper.

I really wanted to see Marn’s Viper vs Yeb’s Gen though. I want to see his Gen beat down by a Viper.
Pad Viper from the Seasons Beatings stream last night blew my mind. Didn’t think a lot of what he was doing was possible on pad, but then again, the only pad I have is a standard 360 controller. Wonder what pad he was using…
Must have been Porkloafking then, he mentioned on his Youtube page that he was going to SB4. He uses a Dualshock pad and he uses the analog sticks.

Also, for Viper tricks I saw Cabbitsu do some interesting stuff during SBO. Block string of j.RH, s.lk, s.lk, Cross up BK and to mix it up some more he did c.mp, TK Feint, Cross up BK after the 2 s.lk.
Cabbitsu’s corner pressure in the final match of SBO teams in SF4 was insane. It was just pretty much instant straight up BK’s into FTK’s with guessing games on wake up which led to more BK’s and FTK juggles. Blocked FTK’s went into FADC into a guessing game of BK, FTK, or throw. I honestly can’t fathom how they get away with these extremely risky plays.

OK people. I’m gonna set the record straight here.
The pad Viper player was wolfkrone. Wolfkrone is his SRK name, but his PSN name is porkloafking, and yeah he plays on a regular dual shock using the analog stick, but he is a beast on a stick also, he just prefers to use a pad. He is not 14. I don’t want to be giving out his personal information but he’s older than 14, I don’t know where anyone got that idea from.
He is gdlk though, real talk. He has things that he does that I’ve never even thought about doing before. He does shit like cr mk, sjc, fadc backwards. I never even thought about doing something like that before. He almost ocv’d J Wong’s whole team but narrowly got beat by Wong after beating LI Joe and Noah.
As far as the Jibbo match he lost the first match with Viper then switched to Rose and won the next 2 to win loser’s finals and make it into top 16. That was my favorite match of the tournament. So intense and close. His only loss in pool play was to Daigo.
Mad props to porkloafking for being the only Viper in top 16!!! Good shit man.

I did Viper’s hit confirm into sjc ultra in an online match today. Dude sent me a message afterwards, “what in the hell was that?” Glorious
