Even if they aren’t usually worth it, there will be situations where a combo that they allow you to do or a situation they get you out of makes it worth it IMO. Especially TK EX.
Think of it like her having 6 or more supers. Some of them are certainly trash, but other ones look really good. Specifically the EX TK seems worth the bar in the right situation. If they stop to throw a projectile at her, ZAMMO! Hit and crumple!
Viper could have been the only character with a 4 section super meter.
I actually like the idea of this. Wish they would have done this instead of a whole super bar. =/
they’re not gonna do the ‘multiple kinds of bars’ thing for this game, its not really appropriate. They just have to make sure the EX’ are good enough. Dunno how you do that with Seismo or FK tho’
Well, obviously they wouldn’t have multiple bars or split the bar, but the concept of only using 25% or maybe even half bar for an EX could prove to be more worth it than an entire super bar. We’ll see how good the EX moves are though to justify the use of a whole level of meter.
Colors are
1: Regular
2: Brown hair we’ve seen in pics
3: ??? dont remember
4: Golden Viper. Think GamerBee’s Adon.
Meh, its not so bad, KoFXIII does the exact same thing, and it’s working out pretty well. Use your bar for super? Save it for a beefed up special move, or a level 3 DM? Brings a whole new level of meter management.
Plus, if her EX moves took quarter bar, or even half bar with such good properties, you couls just stock 2, 3 meters and just spam awesome EX moves until the cows come home. Stock 5? Might as well stuff a EX Seismo up your opponent’s ass and laugh as they explode into bloody little chunks of shenaniganzzzzzzzz.
5 bars, 5 EX moves, or five supers? One level 3, and a double DHC? Or maybe a little mix and match? The choice is yours! Ooh, imagine the possibilities!
I think EX should just be half a bar. I mean it is only a more powerful version of a special move, not an all out hyper.
Well, the ex tk does really good damage, goes through projectiles, and is an automatic crumple. Sounds worth a bar to me.
says who
Says me.
Look into your heart, and you will find that I am right.
Updated the first post.
Awesome thanks for the new info. Btw, I know it says Seismo doesn’t hit low, but I was wondering if maybe her Seismo assist maybe hits low. Post doesn’t really clarify.
Since the game’s revelation, there has not been a single report I can recall, that suggested property change between a a point’s special and an assist’s version of the same special. So I’ma guess highly unlikely.
I’m not terribly concerned that Seismo’s don’t hit low. Considering how MVC3 is it’s not a deal breaker for Viper and in exchange we got a ton of other buffs that I wish she had in SSF4. The most important one, imo, is that BK’s are overheads and they are feintable with instant recovery allowing her to to do things like BK feint hit high, bk feint land hit low, bk feint 8-way dash, or finish the BK. She has a ton of mix up potential now and combine with a good trap assist and she’s the new magneto.
Yeah I’m def playing viper she’s gonna be top tier for sure. The three assist I said she have she has too
The new question of the day is… Is her assist bk overhead if so. She def contender for top 5
Are Burnkicks overhead anyways? If she doesnt have any meters in her then she’s empty (lol) and iirc you need dat meter for her relaunches
And BK can be canceled anytime? And if EX wasn’t a bar it would be OP. FADC takes meter too?
Bks are overhead.
Viper is top 5 with theres at least 8 more characters that arent announced?lol
