I was hoping Under Night in Birth would have more Melty Blood characters. It does have some cool arrangements so far.

Street Fighter X Tekken ver. 2013 is now available for download. I’ve messed around with it for a couple of hours and it’s definitely a different game. I still prefer AE2012 but I will be giving the game more attention than before. It actually feels like Street Fighter. Just think of switching teammates mid-combo like FADCing mid-combo (only easier cause you don’t have to dash). I’d be up for adding it to the Monday night roster of games.
Tom, I hope your family feels better. There has been too much sickness going around. Sang and I have been leveling up in your absense so you better get back soon.
Well, I can give it a whirl again. It was…not bad. I had fun with the 4-man games. The prospect of horrible gems really killed the game for me, but it does seem to have leveled out a little. Might pick it back up this weekend. I’ve been running awfully hot and cold on AE2012, and I can’t find anyone that actually plays Melty Blood.
Reinstalled SFxT on steam. Didn’t realize that the 2013 patch still isn’t available. Kinda frustrating. Haven’t been able to find a single player through match-making yet.
Oh, that double stinks. Matches are happening pretty fast on the PSN. So far I think people are really enjoying the updated game.

Well, it appears I was wrong about the SFxT online play for PC. All I had to do apparently was just play some arcade with fight request enabled. I don’t even get to start a round against the PC 95% of the time before someone jumps in. I’m actually having quite a bit of fun. Lots of options, but not as deep as SF4 I think.
I don’t see what all the fuss was with the netcode. MVC3 was way worse for me. Maybe it go better?
So yeah, I’d like to come up to a Monday night at Meta sometime soon, but I can’t guarantee when that will be. Back at college this semester, so it’s tough to find time away from the job and schoolwork to drive up there. You guys do still go to Mondays…right?
Tom and Tim still hang around there as far as I know, not sure who the regs are these days since I usually can’t come because of work
