I am back home now (left Chicago after the Tekken 6 finals), but I really need to just hang around and recover myself. If you get a hold of them Josh, just let us know. I’m probably sleeping in for quite a while tonight. 3 straight nights of sleeping on a ridiculously uncomfortable couch with no blankets makes my own bed feel like a damned cloud.
That said, if Meta is closed, I would be more than willing to have some people over Monday night, especially since I don’t work on Tuesday either.
Baby will not sleep, so I’m getting extra practice this week :-/. I’ll get a call into Meta tomorrow and try and post from my phone with an update. Barring that, I’m sure we’ll find somewhere to gather.
Dude, viper got so much stuff I don’t even know where to start. Use this combo and learn to punish midscreen. This is the same combo I’m working on for the last whole year and still didn’t get it down yet. I’ll go over more stuff when we meet up. Lately been playing Noel on blazblue for fun. No actual matches, just doing the combo.
This will pretty much cover most of C viper’s execution. My execution sucks and I picked up cviper early and learned some bad habits. Now its hard to change things. Hope you have a better time than me.

I know I’ve been absent from those these last few weeks, just curious if this was a new development or if it’s been that way for a while.

Sorry guys. I’m just now getting to the point of checking the forums. NLG is a bit of a bust right now. Since we don’t seem to have another day that works, and they aren’t open later then 8; it’s been futile trying to setup another day. I recently visited the owner, and he mentioned that if he knew we couldn’t work out another day, he wouldn’t have closed Sundays. Of course, this can be changed…
I did talk to the owner a little more, and there was some talk about some after-hour days, or even bringing back Sunday, just to have the fighters back. Unfortunately, I’m going to be moving to Minneapolis here very soon. If someone else would like to take over the relationship with NLG, I will be happy to set something up with the owner, to introduce, and letting him get to know who will be taking over.

I certainly wouldn’t mind taking over the relationship with NLG, if anyone doesn’t mind. It’s not like I have a job right now, so I can definitely go about dealing with the owner about meet ups there. Plus, I’d like to get the Sunday meet ups back going again, so I can play a lot more. I’ve been slacking a bit recently, since I can’t really do much to get around outside of going to Meta.
Let me know when you can meet up, and I’ll get a time setup to meet with the owner. Since you were a regular on Sundays, that helps a lot. I hate to leave you guys hanging like this, but I can’t avoid it.

I recently installed a Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT-SK Joystick in my FightStick SE, so I’m looking to play some low latency games online to try it out. I may wait until I can drop another $30 on swapping out the stock buttons for Sanwa buttons to play more often, but I’d like to start practicing my Chun Li game right away.
I’m a new parent, so my availability to attend local events is limited, but I’d love to play some games of SSFIV, T6, and SCIV online!
