Hey what’s up guys? Just wanted to stop through and post up the info for the 2012 EVO Midwest Championships (MWC). That’s right, we are an EVO qualifier this year, and are looking to make this the biggest MWC yet!
This year’s MWC will be held in Nashville, TN. Specifically at the South’s premier arcade, Game Galaxy, which is owned and operated by OG tournament player and veteran game collector Jason “DreamTR” Wilson!

Holy shit. I was eying (wtf? spellcheck claims that is spelled with only 1 e) Hugo in SFxT and he is apparently top tier ATM.
I took this as a sign and bought SFxT this morning. Still have yet to play it, so it might be as bad as everyone says it is.
See, in this case you banked on an entire game and it sucks.

All trolling aside, since its what we all seem to do best, I wanted to like this game. I had zero expectations and was completely turned off, but the 13 year old inside me made me buy this game. And I still want to like it, but getting every anti-air stuffed and then having to press lp in some one’s face while calling it pressure is deterring me. Also, time-outs with both people at half life or more is really ridiculous. I’m hoping that’s just the metagame right now where people are so cautious because they don’t quite understand how things work, so we spend a lot of time staring at one another. If I could ask for two things to change about this game it would more reliable anti-airs outside of traditional dps and less frame advantage on s. LP’s all around.
There are actually some characters with really good Anti-airs. A couple people can just cr.hp or hk which is fucken annoying since the only way to pressure people in that game for me is to jump at them lol. Game just feels really slow paced and everyone is just laming shit out. I like the game and it can be fun, but I don’t see myself really putting much effort into it or competitively.
Yeah, like, why is Rufus’ c. MP so amazing suddenly? I think I’m gonna take a step back from the game, see how things develop and if Capcom chooses to make any changes, because there are things I enjoy about the game that keep me firing it up.
If the best things in life are free, does that make Cheeseburger the best?
