72 hours w/o MvC3 and I still hate it.
I’ve been playing sparingly until my parts come in today, once I get my real stick going I’m going to be playing a lot more often and start theorycrafting a good team. It’s sad to see that a lot of people dislike MvC3 because of various reasons considering it’s the first traditional fighter I want to get in to, but maybe Capcom will fix these common complaints.
Once I get a solid team together and I get my execution bettered, I’ll definitely hit you up Plot Armor so we can play at some point.
O good. anyway I want to play some casual matches so if anyone would like to come over or invite me over
I be down to play either wednesday or thursday. My cell is 413-454-5653.
If this were Facebook, I’d like this status.
Got my parts installed and it’s amazing. I’m definitely in love with the octagonal gate, too. Plot, I may hit you up Thursday, but I’m still fairly inexperienced and would like to train a little more before I go play others
Edit: Annnd I just beat Deadpools mission 10
So im gonna be at blue9’s tonight mashin and shit, love to see some people i dont get to play alot in 4/mvc3

We have added MvC3 to our line up and are currently running a poll to see what people want the pot/entry fee to be for it. So please vote and let us know and sign up if you can make it
Hello thread!!!
Nah, Son
Ayun Man.

best game ever
Pretty sure my friend had the snes port of that game or something similar when we were lil kids. lol
I’m starting to think I understand why people dislike octagon gates, such as going from down to forward without touching downforward being very annoying. I’ll swap back out tonight, then.
Gone a full week without the game. Still raging at it. I may pop it in over the weekend.
I’ll be on XBL huggin the corpse of MvC2.
Hey So I just signed up for WCG’s fighters club in new york. Is anyone else going? I sign up for both SSF4 and MvC3. I went last two years and its mad fun.
That sounds like it could be an adventure. I gotta look into that
But you said you hated the game and stopped playing it two weeks ago =/
hi all,
coming up to MA for PAX East. I dont expect to find super amazing comp or anything but if anyones down for casuals post up. i stay pretty close to providence but i spend most of the time in boston. feel free to add me on xbl for some games.
Im going to temporarily lift my judgement on MvC3 for a couple of reasons. The first would be the amazing display of variety at Winter Brawl. Tons of new setups and characters were on display, and it made the game feel a lot more surprising then I expected, especially with Justin’s She-Hulk team. Not to mention top players basically proved that there is a number of characters that can shit on Sentinel pretty badly.
Another reason im giving the game a second chance is because there looks to be a number of different options and strategies you can employ to reduce the effectiveness of both X-Factor itself as well as characters that are the best at abusing it. Because these strategies are so plentiful this early on, Im inclined to think it’s another case of learning to reduce your opponents options through knowledge of the various game mechanics.
Besides this, it really is way too early to judge a game like Marvel 3. Even with how easy the combos are there just too much yet to discover for this game to judge it so harshly. I don’t necessarily regret hating it early on and I think it was a valid knee jerk reaction to X-Factor, but it’s still a game worth exploring for the time being.
Also, Im going to go in the lab with Joe. That shit that RyRy was doing with cancelling that annoying as Boomerang over and over again looked WAY too dirty for me to pass up. Plus Flash Metroid hinted at some really fucked up shit with Joe that he won’t get into. So that’s what’s on my agenda atm. Ill see those of you who still play soon!
Played a bit today. Still felt the same, guess I’ll stick to the “I like to watch it but its not my game” type of thing. Might do a meetup in EARLY April for Super/MvC3. I’m just giving everyone a ton of notice.
edit: Doug, I feel the same way about it as I did w/ Super. I think its a great game and I think there will be a lot of good competition. When I play the game and what not I don’t have fun, but I’ll still throw it in every once and awhile I’m sure. My only concern is just how much dmg any combo can do but thats just me.
