Hey thanks everyone who showed up and glad we had some high level players make it to give us a show. I got owned but had fun, met some cool people, and watched some great matches so that’s what it’s all about.
Honestly don’t know why the setup was so haphazard so my apologies. I’ve organized some other game tournaments at my old job and we did a much much better job. I think the people @ VGC don’t really the best space. If you know of another tournament in the area let me know I’m happy to sponsor people from SRK and help people carpool if they need a ride. In the future I think I’m going to bring another setup to the venue and two SE sticks for practice/casual games between rounds.
Looking at getting something going in Enfield, CT since they have a big space with several tables and chairs set up there for card game tournaments and expressed a willingness to host game tournaments. Cons would be no outside food but they may waive venue if we bring our own setups?
I don’t know starting something like a monthly local tournament might be nice. It’s not hard to set up some bracket software, set up some ground rules, and bring some setups. I’m happy to hype/organize it’s just a matter of finding a good place to do it.
How much for Tekken Tag 2 and did you already redeem the online pass?

I enjoyed myself at the tournament. I was able to afford a good meal with the tournament winnings and not allow cheeseburger to reactivate his wow account.
