I have no idea if there’s been one of these around here (closest thing was a casino thread that hasn’t seen activity in two years, so I doubt it).
But since I see other NFL, NBA, MLB, NCAA, Premier League, UEFA, etc. fans around here someone else has to having a gambling problem like I do:smile:
I bet them all, primarily NCAA football and Soccer matches along with occasional NFL and boxing/mma.
Anyway, I figure this thread will be good for discussion if anyone sees a good game or line, or we can just discuss our wins/losses from the week.
If anyone has any questions about how lines or betting works, I’d be glad to introduce you to the rules of your new addiction.
And as a disclaimer, don’t be stupid, don’t bet more than you can afford to lose, blah blah blah you know the drill.

Portsmouth are all over the place and Storrie said on the BBC last night that he may walk. Arab dude has come out today and said he will invest 50million soon, but said the other day that no players would e signed in jan window. Hart seems resigned to being spanked by everyone and ending up worse than Derby. He is joking about the situation too, plus he is a shite manager.
Only down side is that its at Fratton Park so a fair old journey for the toffees and it is an early kick off. But 4.5 is too good to turn down for a lay. I expected Portsmouth to be about 6s for this, even at home.
My book is giving a little worse line on that, but it’s still pretty good.
I know what you mean about Portsmouth too, they’re a mess. Bankruptcy looming, manager troubles, bottom of the table, etc.
Sometimes it amazes me that they’ve fallen so far considering it looked like they in good shape a couple of years ago when they won some trophies and got to the groups in UEFA.
In Vegas, people lose cause they have their pride. To win, you find someone with tickets in their hand and stand behind them. Wait til he cashes out and if it’s the amount you like then listen to his picks and pick the same, just don’t wager $300-$500 like they do. And no parlay over 4 teams max. Normally 2 or 3, 4 is pushing it.

<—Rookie here. Im just now learning that stuff with the parlays. Sadly Delaware is just starting up and only has 3-10 team parlays for the time being. With a 2$ min bet and a decent payout I dont mind dropping 2 on a 10 team. Funny thing is i tried some 3 game parlays and a 10-game on week 1 just for kicks. Cinci-Denver was the only game I got wrong on the 10 card. It was an early game though so my hopes weren’t dragged out to like a monday nighter. I know I wont get luck like that the rest of the season. Both my 3-games won me some change though. I think I’m going to stick with them, and take my straight bets elsewhere. I’ll keep what you said in mind though.
I do hate how the way you watch a game changes when you have money riding on it though. I try not to bet on my team (or against for that matter)
