I played some SSF4 for about an hour last night after not playing for a long while. It was a nice change of pace from the franticness of Marvel.
You guys should try it out sometime :tup:
I think I’m about done with Marvel. I just don’t have any desire to play it, especially after going back and playing some SSF4 and remembering how much I love that game. The only reason I find myself playing MvC3 is so I can play with you guys and not embarrass myself. I’ll still play some casuals but we’ll see how long that lasts before you all eclipse me, heh.
It’s just not very fun for me. I tried!
No shame in focusing on one game as far as I’m concerned. I know I don’t have time to work on two games. I think I am done with SSF4 until AE hits, and then I am screwed. I will definitely keep playing casuals with you guys.
Well, when we have get togethers I just have to wait until Ronny gets so mad with MvC3 that he’ll come play SSF4 with me 
Haha no worries. I will still play SSF4 with you. I will just lose more quickly than usual.
i’m kinda in the same boat, and i haven’t even played marvel 3 that much. it just seems like a game that requires way more time than i have to give. whenever i do manage to find time to play some games, i’ve been playing dead space1 and some of my other games that i’ve had since christmas but hadn’t played yet. there are a lot of old non-fighting titles that i still want to buy and play as well.

Heh, that reminds me that I still need to finish Dead Space too…only got two chapters in I think. I also have Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and Enslaved: Odyssey to the West on my plate…plus an unopened Bayonetta. And Mass Effect 2.
This was a lot easier before Street Fighter. Who knew that randomly buying HD Remix on a whim (somewhat drunkenly) would lead to this?
It doesn’t help that Christi and I are redoing our basement right now so there goes most of my time.

I pretty much had to quit playing anything but fighting games. They just take up too much of my limited gaming time. If you host on the 8th I’ll be there.

Anyone gonna switch characters when AE drops? I hate to say it but watching Marn destroy the East Coast with Yun on the Wednesday Spooky stream made me want to play him 
I am already so bored with Yun and Yang, but Evil Ryu and Oni (especially Oni) look pretty cool.
I wouldn’t necessarily expect to switch from Cammy but with the changes she got I don’t know how she’ll fit my playstyle anymore.
I loved Yun, Yang, and Makoto in 3s, so there is a very good chance I will switch to one of them.

I am new in Spokane, and will only be here for a couple more months, but I’m interested in coming to a gathering and playing some games (I play MvC3 and SF4). I’m wondering: where do you guys meet? Also, are people generally cool with letting others use their sticks? I ask because I don’t have mine with me.

we normally meet up in… well where is normal these days? there are a few places. Either in Spokane Valley or in Cheney? I dunno. Most likely Spokane Valley - people are closer to there than to me.
Also I want to get a meeting soon - or at least a little bit of playing. Anybody down to play Thursday evening in Cheney?
I have no plans on Thursday, so I can probably make it out to Cheney to play Gimpy. Gamertag, we have generally been meeting in the valley, but have met in Cheney a couple times too. As far as I know, everyone is cool with letting others use their sticks. We usually have enough to go around.
