somebody told me bout that corner combo and they saw you do it. maybe they didn’t know what they were talking about it, but they did it as I described… and they said since it uncombos and you can’t escape, it does close to 100% damage.
then again they said sent-g connected in the corner after throwing them forward, but i can’t get that to work… oh well.

Maybe they are talking about this - right before you throw a person ( regular throw walking up HP) call your sent assist and don’t mash on the throw. What will happen is the sent drones will hit and you can launch most of the characters. This is probably what they are talking about.

She seemed like the kind of character I would like because : 1) you can chip without using supers 2) You can adjust the speed of the knives with the push of a button 3) she has a shield of swords 4) teleportation is instant 5) I wanted to be different than everyone else which is why I stuck with her for so long - I guess you can say I was hard headed and I stuck with what I liked.
and duc do you ever do that corner combo with the swords where you call swords dahs in c.lk, c.mk c.hp and as soon as the hp comes out throw 2 swords cancel into a dash and air grab land from grab level three super it pops them up normal jump lk. mk. grab. dont know if you do that but there it is. i could explain a little better but i got to go to work if you got any good advice on sprial post it. im trying to ru na low tier team sprial sabertooth and amingo but yea there it is duc peace.

You have to chase cable to the point where you can load knives. An example of a perfect time to load knives on cable is when he super jumps you would super jump with him then press the HP button wait a second and then load knives. If they don’t pushblock then you have succesfully loaded knives. when he throws grenades you can super jump right under him and throw him but they can tech it or you can super jump right under him and do the raise the roof command grab so they will fall into it and not be able to tech it. If cable has some crappy assist then trap his ass and keep him grounded. Don’t be afraid to block and try not to get hit cause knives are too important to lose. There’s a lot more but I can’t think of it right now - the best way would probably be to watch vids of spiral versus cable.
ok heres a different type of question. i use to play spiral storm cykes when i was first learning spirals basics. i know someone who took this team and put cable in instead of storm its not a great team but what can i do to stop his cable? should i destroy his spiral first or should i quickly snap his cable in since hell only have one super and hell have to conserve it? i was thinking the second option since if i destroy meter he would still get meter. what would you do?

The way to fight cable is to load knives and sparingly use the knives to keep him on the ground. If you can perfect the spiral trap then this will definitely be a big plus to you even if they do pushblock in order to get out. I think I posted above on when to reload knives against a cable above. One good tip is to jump at the height as cable and press HP - if they don’t pushblock you can reload knives safely because cable will fall to the ground and be too low to SJ and get you.
Another tip against cable is to not use all your knives at once. Throw 1 or 2 knives to see what they will do. If they block throw the rest. If they jump then you still have 4 to 5 knives to use against him.
If I ever come down to so cal I’m definitely take your money, I would come down if you wanted to put down some real cash, a grand or more. Never even heard of your scrubby ass, but I’m sure I would ocv you with random teams. I bet you don’t even play in tournaments cuz you suck so bad.
