Poops. THey stopped me from trying something before I even thought it up. lol. O well. With so many different assists and character coming to us in two weeks, im excited. Ive pretty much stopped working on my other two characters and only focus on improving my Viper now lol. I finally got fadc seismos down and they add so much pressure. In the corner when you use fadc seismos and hidden missiles assist, it makes it really difficult for the opponent to escape from Viper
I’m sure about one thing in UmvC3; I’ll still be rocking that Viper/Dante. These 2 are a match made in heaven. If I didn’t know better, I’d think Dante was Lauren’s father.

I have a feeling Viper/Dante/Vergil might quite possibly be the best team in Ultimate. Early reports of Vergil quite possibly being the best anchor has me scared.
The meter building nerf might hurt this a little bit because Viper/Dante will have to use a little more to be as destructive as Vanilla… but I still think you should have at least 3 meter if it comes to the point where Vergil must derp out a win with X Factor for you.
From what people have been saying Vergil needs a lot of meter to be decent, but I guess C.Viper and Dante build there own meter. Also haven’t people been saying that Vergil didn’t have much synergy with C.Viper. I guess we’ll have to wait a little bit to see.
How do you guys feel about Wesker/Viper/Doom. wesker gun shot and viper’s burning kick overhead some neat unblockables. i kinda see burning kick as non instant version of psycloke’s(or whatever) assist from mvc2
Meh, Wesker Viper doesn’t really give you much. You already have unblockables with Missiles.
For anyone who has UMVC3 already, I’d love to hear if Ghost Rider’s Heartless Spire assist (the ground eruption thing) can be used to setup a Viper unblockable on an incoming character in a similar fashion to how Jam Session and Repulsor Blast are used.
Pretty much. Also they have costume synergy, and look super bad ass at the char/vs screens

I used Spiderman-Viper-Doom when I was playing in spring and planning on picking it up again.
Or Viper-Storm-Doom and Spiderman-Storm-Doom sometimes.
Spidey and Viper seem to have a lot going for each other. And nobody loves missiles as much as this couple. 
Ive been thinking the Strider assist would be great with a Viper-Doom for all who are interested. The tele-dive kick one.
It tracks and gives a hard knockdown when hitting air-born. Which is kind of that dead zone for Viper, and Doom and her can both combo off the otg.
Just a heads up, that might be a nice one.
about a minute of it there starting at :20 - it works but it doesn’t go that high, so it will miss if they can double jump. a few random things:
M.Thunder Knuckle goes farther than L.Thunder Knuckle.
EX Thunder Knuckle can still be cancelled into EX Seismo.
Optic Blast can only be canceled into EX moves.
the timing for the dash and the hit after landing feels slower… maybe it’s just me.

Awesome, thank you for this! It looks like you’re calling the assist after starting the Focus Attack, making me think that something like Seismo FADC + Assist call into Focus Attack wouldn’t work (not enough block stun on the assist).
I really like Viper, Iron Fist and Dante. The only problem with that team is that I don’t like x-factor lvl 3 Dante at all.
Put IF last, teat him like we used to tread Haggar in Vanilla. I know that IF does really good chip, so XF could be good there too.
do you guys think viper and magneto have good synergy? i really wanna run a viper/magneto/doom team and i feel like it could work. would there be any benefit to running magneto on point and having viper fill the second slot thanks for in the input!
I guess I’ll have to do it, which is a shame since I really love the character, but oh well.
Viper’s purple doesn’t go that well with Iron Fist’s and Dante’s purple, but she has DAT CLAIRE COSTUME, so I use Claire + Sparda + Steel Serpent (Purple), looks good
Viper/Magneto was super strong in Vanilla, but it won’t be as great in Ultimate because now that scaling affects assists, Disruptor is no longer a “do everything” assist for Viper, and it might be worth it to look at other beam assists.
im changing up my team entirely from vanilla as a good change of pace and i was thinking that viper was one of the characters i was interested in. how does viper/storm/doom team sound? storm with her whirlwind assist and doom with hidden missiles.
