Yo guys keep up the good work cause your thread is helping me hellas does anyone have ideas for Spi,Doom, Sent Im listining keep it up cause thats what Im switching my team to permanantly switch out doom for IM sometimes keep it up also what is the notation for web swing cancel the airdash Im not good with marvel notation so be easy

w/sent ground:

st. fk + sent xx fp spider sting xx MS.

On some characters, you may have to call sent slightly before or after the fierce kick. If that fk is blocked, then xx lp web ball or xx fp web throw to keep em pinned.

cr. lk, cr. lk + sent, st. fk /\ sj. lk, sj. fk, lands on drones, st. fk into whatever air stuff you want.

Relaunch combo with Spidey/Sent. I’m trying to find a way to get some mixups with Spidey/Sent, and those will come later on.

w/Storm variety:

cr. lk + storm, cr. lk, st. fk /\ sj. fp xx MS.

By the time you hit them with the sj. fp, the vertical typhoon should have formed which keeps them up so you can Maximum Spider that mess.

w/BH AA

cr. lk, st. lk + BH, st. fk xx fp web throw.

I know that with some characters, you may have to alter this and call BH with the first lk. But the Inferno knocks them up and you catch em with the web throw. Pretty good damage. Be sure to mash the web throw as well.

Had some more with him, but I forgot them, I’ll post em later.

w/Tron proj.

cr. fk + Tron, fruit loops hit, lp web throw or st. fk into blaahhh.

Good damage for dumbasses who don’t roll.

cr. lk, cr. lk, st. fk, call Tron /\ sj. fp, Fruit Loops hit.

The key here is that you want all 3 of the rings to hit. I’ve gotten the most success out of calling her right after the st. fk. This also sets up a slight mixup pattern, making them have to guess which way to block.

(corner) cr. lk, st. lk, st. fk + Tron, Fruit loops hit, lp web throw or any super.

Fun corner stuff you can do and such.

I play 3 Spidey based teams now. Spidey/Sent/Tron, Spidey/BH/Doom, and my best Spidey squad, Gambit/Storm/Spidey.

if you hold d/f or d/b with them, you get slightly angled dash cancels

and low tier teams?

spiderman / hood / doom
spiderman / rubyheart / juggernaut
spiderman / thanos (capture + spiderman = insane shit) / ken expansion (once again, insane combos)

why can I time his fast tri jump? I don’t have to hit both punches to make him do it.

I’ve been having spideyitis as of late and he’s beastly. Who knew that there was magnus like low tiers.

spidey ron:

fp throw + tron is rediculous. spidey will throw into all 3 tron rings @ once for half life on most characters. He’ll get this in there because of how deadly his overheads and rush down can be. fp throw + tron, dp fp, maximum spider hit for like 113 damage on cable only. I have tested out the rest of the cast and they don’t seem to be as prone to this as cable is.

j.lp, j.fp off the air dash, dash in c.lp + tron, c.fp, you can redash after this to recombo and finish off but this is a nice staple since theres a few options you have from it.

j.lp, j.fp off the air dash, dash in, s.lk, s.rh, sj cancel, immediate air dash cancel attack move. Depending on the range, calls for a different air dash cancel attack so just be open to that. This is a good re chain because the rings will still hit after the s.rh I believe and it gives spidey another chance for a rush down.

j.lp, j.fp off the air dash, dash in s.lk, s.mp launcher, sj.lp, sj.lk, sj.lp, jab well ball, sj.lk, sj.fp. This will cause flying screen when spidey is coming down from about mid normal jump height. Its a really low combo and gotta love the sj.fp flying screen. After you’ve landed from the sj.fp, call tron, sj immediate air dash cancel and overhead from the opposite side. Your opponent has to block xup tron and the spidey xup series afterwards.

j.lp, j.fp off the air dash, dash in, s.lk, s.mp launcher, sj and immediate air dash cancel the other side with j.lp\j.lk, into sj.fp. Its only a 2 hitter so it won’t create flying screen but it will cause this ground slam that leaves spidey time for mixup options.

that staple combo is really useful if you want to play out some offensive scenarios.

all of spidermans moves will hit crossup and reverse. thats just beastly. It means you can pretty much magic series anything and it will hit regardless. Some hit fatter than others but they all will. From personal tests it seems like j.rh has the best xup potential.

spidey can hit overhead 1, 2, and 3 hits vs a crouching opponent**. I was trying this on storm so she’s pretty small. Personally, I like air dash cancel, j.lp, j.fp. J.lp is fast and hits at this nice down angle and it combos into j.fp which gives you time to dash in and get extra strings. Its good to mix it up though.

air dashing immediately from SJ seems to create the fastest low angle for spidey to get overheads and other side overheads. You can get this really low which is what you should be doing any way for his fastest overheads.

sj, immediate air dash to the opposite side of the opponent will cause moves to flip around. Normal air dash doesn’t have that luxury. This applies to all characters that have sort of air dash.

overhead series into, s.lk+tron, s.rh is your setup for supers. Don’t know if that sling super will work but the other 2 do.

if you find a character that has a 0-1 frame dhc, you can end combos with spideys s.rh (no launch) immediate combo super cancel, into your 0-1 frame dhc move and it will combo. It gives spidey an extra option out w\o having to connect a super. It doesn’t matter how far out the s.rh hits as long as your dhc will make it in time connect.

does spidey got an unescapeable guard break?

i use the double to help me time. it’s not a required input. sorry, shoulda mentioned that.

When I ever I Web-dash I try tiger knee it backwards :qcb: :ub: + :2p:, never forward because of MS . It puts the Web-Dash closer to the ground and seems easier to cancel from it.

took me a few days but I see where to do it and can get off pretty consistently in training mode. Mid game is a little more hectice because you don’t want to swing into anything. I just sj, both punches immediately and cancel my airdash like that.

spidey seems extremely beastly. I love how everything will xup for him from. thnx on tips about spidey being able to air dash after a MS on an assist. Shit is so safe.

what do you run for low tier spidey action? I like spidey\ruby ron and spidey\morrigan ron.

what do you think about spidey s.rh, sj cancel immediate air dash for mixup? it doesn’t seem that hard to do and anytime you get an overhead series, you can combo in the s.rh for another 50\50 series. I was thinking about using that with the s.mp launcher mixup game.

good shit everyone, ima huge spidey fan, game wise, dont really care about the comics/movies, been usin him since marvel super heroes, glad to see all this good info in here. originally my team with spidey was Spidey, Ken, Psylocke, but after reading the doom combos in here, im now usin Spidey, Doom, Storm. combos are so good. and do good damage. but im having a problem with that air dash cancel, is there a certain timing for it? or do you do pp+d as soon as possible?

does anyone have any combos with spidey/storm?
