Spider-Man, The Amazing Thread

Didn’t see it up at Dynamic Forces. Ebay has it but it does have the words ‘Civil War’ on it, not sure if this is the one you are talking about -

I have the issue sano. I’m looking for the image. I plan on getting it tattoed.

Sorry… But not for nothing if the tattoo artist isn’t able to fill in the spaces the letters cut out he/she really sucks at their job and you should find someone else…

I’ve never gotten a tattoo before but I imagine you can ask to see samples of the artist’s work, know before hand who can draw super heroes and stuff.

If you do get one take a picture, that would look great as a tattoo!

Not if he gets the tattoo on his butt. Nobody needs to see that.

Dan Slott interview -

***Amazing Spider-Man #562-563, a disabled man was able to walk again after being touched by Li, and in issue #568 readers got to see what happened when Li touched Brock. Didnt Aunt May have a gunshot would? ***

:wow:

Retailers talk about how BND is selling -

Oh snap you can spot an old “Colbert '08” poster in Spider-Girl this week. I guess Stephen Colbert runs for President of the United States in both 616 and the M2 Universe.

lol cartoon ham

I have ASG on my file list but my comic shop didn’t get it in this week.

Oh hey Reggie thanks for adding that J.M. DeMatteis interview on your blog on September 3rd. I listened to it 2 weeks ago.

lol is he officially a marvel character yet?

Sure why not lol! BTW Stephen Colbert’s first Marvel comic book appearance was in PAD’s Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.

ASM’s Spider-Man vs. Bullseye fight was TOO GOOD! Hey Daredevil, how about you give us Bullseye as a Spidey villain and you can keep Kingpin for good! :looney:
Ha ha Spidey tried to tag him with a Spider-Tracer, Bullseye caught it, flung it at Spidey and it dug into the side of his neck! Bullets were missing Spidey but Bullseye was tagging him with shards glass and nails! TOO GOOD!

So it seems that Eddie remembers the past as him harassing Parker because Peter took Spidey’s pictures, and not harrasing Peter because he knew he was Spidey. Hmm, tricky to wrap your head around but I can work with it. So Eddie Brock can still recall scaring the crap out of MJ in ASM 300 (the GF Pete was living with and not Pete’s wife anymore I guess) and paying Aunt May for a visit way back. That also clears up that Aunt May still knows Eddie Brock. Fun issue!
man that was a good issue
i cannot get sick of jrjr’s art

I don’t care for the new direction in ASM, but I flipped through a few issues of NWTD and it doesn’t seem bad at all. Still not enough to make me pick up an issue, though.

Glad you like the JM DeMatties podcast, Sano. He’s one of the greats.

Picked up my first Spider-Girl trade a few weeks ago. vol. 2 of the digests.

And this past week at my comic shop, I finally scored copies of the issues where Spidey fights Juggy.

I was really looking forward to seeing Brock reclaim the Venom mantle, and I gotta say that so far NWTD has been sporting some of the weakest Romita Jr. art I’ve ever seen.

Have you heard what Marc Guggenheim said concerning BND lately?

Speaking of "judging" Guggenheim said a lot of people who aren't reading Spider-Man or refuse to read Spider-Man are judging it based on misunderstandings. "Part of the problem with the controversy behind One More Day is the understanding of what was retconned overstates the extent of what was done," he said. "Everything that happened in the last twenty plus years of comic book history happened! The only difference is that Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson weren't married. They still dated. They still lived together. They still love each other. They just weren't married. Judging from the letters and death threats we received, I think some people were confused. It all still happened."

>"Here's my attitude, if anyone is upset about the marriage going away, then they must all be pro gay marriage," he continued. Because if you're pro gay marriage, you understand the distinction between a marriage and a civil union -- that a civil union is not equal to a marriage. We downgraded Mary Jane and Peter to a civil union. If that bothers you, then you're pro gay marriage."

Going to be interesting how this one plays out.

Link or it didn’t happen.
