Interview with Steve Whacker. I know most of you guys aren’t interested since it’s BND, but it’s got some good stuff.
I’m becoming more and more convinced that Pete’s identity will be in jeopardy once again during New Ways to Die, and other BND threads may start to come undone (although probably not the big one, obviously).
[details=Spoiler]This seems to imply that Norman still remembers Pete’s identity (as he damn well should, it’s an integral part of his character). Once he points that out to people, including Peter himself, they may begin to realize that they should have known this all along, what with the public unmasking and all. After all, that hasn’t been retconned per-se, it’s just that everyone “forgot” (whatever that means). Once that mental block falls, I think some of the others may follow. I think this could actually lead to something really good, if done properly. The idea of Peter’s new, “carefree” reality falling apart around him while he tries to figure out what’s going on sounds really appealing to me. Of course, it probably won’t be something so cool, but we’ll see.

Spider-Man Family comes out this week with Defalco’s “Mr. and Mrs. Spider-Man” where Peter and Mary Jane are STILL married! :lovin: Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane is back! Venom Dark Origin comes out too. Awesome Spidey week! :woot:
It’s too bad the rest of Spider-Man Family will turn into a BND propaganda book. One of the stories will be “Aunt May Agent of F.E.A.S.T.” and yep that’s BND Aunt May. I wish they would of just kept Spider-Man Family the way it was and included Mr. and Mrs… Ah well what are you gonna do… :wasted:
Old Man Logan issue 2, OMD, 616’s Spider-Man current future
Spoiler
I have suspected and hoped that if Peter was going to move on with another girl it would be Lily. But as for the third daugther, you could also look at it like May (aka Spider-Girl) is the first one who may or may not have died/kidnapped and the second one was the kid that Mephisto supposedly wiped out/took in OMD who may or may not have been May. Eh, either way.
Picked up New Ways To Die because of JRjr and Venom’s return, very nice! I liked it so much I read it twice, back to back. In the first issue they give you a recap of Spider-Man’s origin story and catch you up to speed with what’s been going on in the book. It’s a super obvious attempt to either relaunch BND or just be incredibly new reader friendly. Anyway, it seems like Peter Parker’s life is back on track and things are looking up for him, something the book really needed. Norman Osborn is the man lol! I’m on board for this arc, don’t know about the rest. Bring on Anti-Venom and the Green Goblin!
New Ways To Die
Spoiler
Eddie Brock anywhere near May is kind of… ? Because Brock did meet Aunt May before, when he visited her house and said “Can Petey come out and pway?” lol! And Aunt May thought he was a very nice man, double lol! So here’s the question, when Eddie Brock got down with F.E.A.S.T., I naturally assume Aunt May still remembered Eddie Brock. But wouldn’t Eddie Brock, who now ‘supposedly’ forgot about Spider-Man start wondering how does he even know Aunt May? Ah, just hope he’s on the path to remembering everything. Come on Eddie, THINK ABOUT IT…
In the latest Spider-Man NWTD issue Peter states, while being face to face with Norman Osborne and the Thunderbolts “Ah right. He doesn’t remember anymore. He has no idea I’m Spidey. Nobody does. Everything we did is still up and running. I’m safe”.
Great issue. Norman Osborn and Eddie Brock FTW! :woot:
New Ways To Die 2
Spoiler
So I wonder if Spidey was talking about how they caused some confusion about his identity in Slott’s own Avengers Initiative issue a while back prior to OMD, with the Scarlet Spiders and 3 MVPs looking like Peter Parker. Still, that wouldn’t be enough to fool Norman Osborn though. It would be hella crazy if Spider-Man did remember his deal with Mephisto, insanity! :looney:
So in the Spider-Man Annual they will reveal Jackpot’s identity. It’s Firestar I tell you. :clown:
