Haven’t had any JRjr goodness since World War Hulk. It’s good to see Brock back again. His Back In Black arc wasn’t that great. I’m also loving the Spider-Carnage Anti-Venom costume.
dUNNO if this is where I should ask this but…what are some good Jessica Drew series (SpiderWoman) do you recommend picking up?
Aside from her origin story that came out a while ago? I have no idea…
The Secret Invasion Spider-Man arc looks enticing. It’s not going to have single Spider-Man in it too much since he’s on Savage Land, just going to focus on Jackpot and her chance to prove how much of a hero she is. She seems to have MJ’s '60s devil may care attitude, she’s all like “Woot woot! Skrulls!” 
Written by Reed of Ms. Marvel fame. But yeah I dunno, I’d like to see some preview art before I decide…
I just hope the explanation for MJ isn’t “Gwen wasn’t the one who banged Norman and popped out his kids, I was. I lied to you before, but thanks that stupid deal, you found out this time.”
I get the feeling that ‘Anti Venom’ is Brock’s Cancer somehow mutated by the Symboit, whatever held it off or some shit like that. Either way I’m just gonna wait till the review and hope someone can turn BND around.
Nah, like I said before in this thread, JQ confirmed that Norman and Gwen’s kids are still alive and are still out there. So no worries on that end. Truth be told JQ’s not really for people in Spider-Man mythos having babies besides.
PREACH!! :rock: As good as Wells arc was, I still Byrne-Stole it and I’ll do the same with this arc. My comic shop is sweet like that.

The Civil War Spider-Ham ish was really funny! I wish there were more nods to the original series but I think only about 4 of us would get it so that’s cool.
BTW, John Romita Jr. himself responded to one of my posts over at Newsarama! Yeah, for those who don’t know this about me, I actually do work a few blocks away from the World Trade Center and was present when the Twin Towers fell. The ASM 9/11 issue really meant a lot to me. It was pretty cool to say thanks to JRjr and have him respond to me. Posts 123-124 below.

Oh and Spectacular Spider-Man ep with Doc Ock was very cool! If you still haven’t checked out Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane, that’s pretty much EXACTLY how that comic book is like, only told from MJ’s perspective and not Spidey’s. Loving this show, SMLMJ still has my favorite version of Gwen Stacy as the new girl in school trying to gain acceptance and screwing up at times, but Spectacular’s Gwen is becomming a second favorite. Now hurry up Marvel and bring back SMLMJ under Terry Moore GAWD! :tup:

Kieth! of Newsarama sent me a PM of the Spider-Man story he is writing. He is actually re-writing Spider-Man from the last issue of OMD and up unofficially, lol! I’ve read up to the second part and so far it’s been interesting. Well he asked me to share this with others so have at thee.

Clone Saga because in the middle of all that Aunt May finally croaked in ASM 400. Old people dying FTW!
Yeah, ASM #400 was a great issue. Then Bob Harras pissed all over it by making the writers bring back Aunt May. She remained a useless character until JMS came on board and did the story where she found out Peter was Spider-Man. in BND she’s back to being a worthless sack of bones.

Besides, Spider-Girl directly ties into the Clone Saga. You know what the ‘What If’’ future for OMD will be? Old Peter Parker trying to pick up girls at the club.
i still have that what if somewhere around my house. it was dope…now that they’ve done a bad retcon, all my dreams of spider-girl showing up in the 616 are dashed.
