MJ will appear sometime in this season. They’re already working on Season 2. Eddie will become Venom near the end of season 1.
Weisman killed the Grayson’s on The Batman. He may off Gwen in this series.

Man those guys really can’t give people a straight answer on the whole OMD/BND questions. There spoutin the same stuff Joe Q has said multiple times.
That’s because they’re future plot and story points.
They’re not going to spoil them.
Spectacular Spider-Man Lizard episode was dope! I loved the green lighting in Connors’ bathroom that foreshadowed his transformation. Also how they even showed his head shrink when he mutated! Great visual for showing how his intellect was gone. Spidey has troubles with his friends now ooh it’s not easy being Spectacular lol! Love this show! :lovin:
i really like how the writers are developing the pp/sm ambivalence, the fact that peter parker looks like a coward and opportunist… at first i wasn’t too crazy about how the show dealt with eddie brock and gwen stacey (in terms of them being friends with PP right off the bat), but it does allow for some great sacrifices for pp from the get go, and i felt that that is one of the most important dimensions of sm/pp’s life…
i’m a bit disappointed to hear MJ will be coming soon, i would have rather had it so that the audience would really grow a special place for gwen by having pp and gwen spend more time together and share more adventures… i’m not saying they can’t, but that’s just my personal preference…
also, how much of eddie brock’s religious bent do you think the show will feature, if at all?
We were having a discussion at Toon Zone forums about Peter taking photos of Spidey fighting the Lizard. As Gain said, Peter ended up looking like a coward and a opportunist in Martha, Gwen, and Eddie’s eyes. Man, being Spidey can really suck sometimes.
I wouldn’t mind MJ showing up soon because that means we’ll get to see more of Gwen’s feelings for Peter surface, even if she is currently upset with him.
More good moments at school: Peter dodging the water balloons Flash threw at him. Gwen defending Peter, and Randy, a member of Flash’s crew sticking up for Peter! Too good. Speaking of Randy, I think he’s voiced by Phil Lamar. :woot: I’m disappointed Liz wasn’t in this ep. We know she likes Peter. Was hoping they’d follow up on it here.
man if they have kelly write just ONE deadpool issue i will lift my ban on bnd
The only thing out of BND thats peaking my interest is the Thunderbolts vs. Spiderman arc. I really want to see if that whole “No one remembers who Spiderman is” extends to Norman Osbourne as well.
If you guys want to hear what one of Spider-Fan’s writers thinks of BND, check out his latest blog post: http://freelanceink.blogspot.com/ In case you can’t tell, I approve this blog and this entry. :woot:
I approve this one too: http://reggieblogged.blogspot.com/
:wgrin:
That first guy doesn’t have a clue.
I guess he hated the Spider-Man movies on top of everything else.
The second guy gets props simply for pimping USM and MA:SM with a David Nakayama cover.
LOL the first guy’s big time hater. Stop watching Cheers after the first season wha… I think he’s a Skrull. Cliff Claven on Jeopardy is mandatory viewing for anyone who’s ever owned a TV.
Reggie - If that’s your blog than good stuff! If it is possible to edit the blog you may want to add Stan Lee’s strip. It’s a little corny here and there but Stan handles their marriage very well, makes it fun and interesting. Venom even had a cameo a few strips ago LOL! And besides all of that, you can read it for free! :woot:
There’s a few places online where you can read Spidey’s strip online but I like this one because the comments are always pretty dang funny. Even if Mike AKA Land Captain Mike hates on the strip sometimes you can tell he’s a hardcore Spider-Man fan. He also tosses up other strips that mention or show Spider-Man too whenever he spots them in current papers, online and so on. Goes back all the way to October 2006.
::enjoyed the first two arcs of BND::
I did as well. They were quite well written and fun. I don’t approve of OMD, but I must admit the first two BND arcs DID feel fresh and exciting. Current one sucks ass though. Next one looks promising.
Ha ha, yeah that’s my blog. Started it about a week ago.
I’ve got Amazing Spider-Blog bookmarked. Yeah, the strips are a bit corny at times but it is entertaining. Venom show up a while ago? Man, I didn’t think he’d be in the strip at all.
Oh hey congrats on your new blog! Off to a great start!
LOL at the Spider-Fan blogger’s statement about how Pursuit of Happyness was “easily the most depressing film” he’d ever seen. Wow. And he says BND is the worst Spider-Man he’s ever seen? Did he have his eyes closed during Maximum Carnage, the Todd McFarlane era, or Howard Mackie’s run? AND he thinks the For Dummies and Idiot’s Guide series insult his intelligence? Geez. This guy lacks… At least a sense of irony, and definitely a sense of humor in general. He should go whack off. In his own face.
I have a comment about the March 11th post. Tell me that picture is just a stock photo of a random white nerd. Because I thought you were black!
And where can we read your love story fan-fic and Powerful Man adventures?
Also, you get extra respect points for being named after the greatest sack-master defensive end in pro football history.
Thanks. I’m planning to but at least a few entries in there each week. :wgrin:
Oh, I’m black for sure. When I wrote that entry I was originally looked for a picture of some glasses to go along with it. I looked on wiki and saw that pic of a white nerd. When I saw how he was looking up with the glasses on, I thought that would work better so I put it up.
Ha and thanks for the extra respect points! :woot:
That is one line that never grows old on srk
Well I finally read my issue of Spider-Man Family #7. If you’re a fan of Mike Wieringo I recommend picking up this issue as the main story in the book is a tribute to the late artist featuring the Looter. Basically the Looter is trying to find a meteor’s twin and goes all over looking for it. Guess stars the Fantastic Four, Kazar, and Dr. Strange. It’s a pretty funny tale with some nice artwork.
