Yesss.
Based on your previous work I have no problem paying whatever you ask as I know it will be quality and I support the little guys!
Wow. Didnt notice the age of this thread! Glad to see your re opening the project!
That’s wonderful! I’m excited that you decided to open this project back up Toodles. :bgrin:
I will order a few for sure. keep up the good work sir.
Toodles, what’s it like being so awesome?
It’s hard for a person to answer that question if they don’t have a frame of suck reference.
I didn’t realize this thread was old, but I’d be down for paying $50-60 for a ready to use optical. That, and I’d buy at least 2. One for my TE and one for a new custom build. After that, I’d probably keep drawing a steady flow so long as the money well doesn’t dry up.
I would pay $60 each for 2 kits to convert a JLF into optical. So $120. I may even spring for 4.
omg! madness!
If anyone can do it, it’s you! Thanks for agreeing to try again, and just let us know when to send in the preorders!
You da man Toodles! Let’s Go Flaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaash!
!!! Too great this man named Toodles … too great …
It’s unfair, I already have way too many arcade parts on my hands !
i would buy one, and more if i liked it! i guess there would be more wiring needed though… would have to get better at soldering.
It all comes full circle. I love the Toodles timeline in this thread.
Flash Replacement----> “Multiconsole PCB” ----> Flash Replacement.
I thought it was funny seeing you talk about the Cthulu while it was just a twinkle in your eye. It shows how much progress you’ve made. At the same time, I think one day we can look back on this thread, but only for a moment as we go back to our Toodles branded Sanwa Flash clones.
whoa, color me interested…I would pick up 3-4 of these minimum…awesome idea Toodles
I would pick one up most definitely.
here is a silly idea for funding this… and i shouldn’t break anyone’s bank either.
the original flashes came whit a sticker right? well (assuming they can be made cheaply enough) how about producing a limited edition vinyl sticker and selling that as a way to build capital? kind of the same things as those kids selling 3 dollar candy bars for charity; a donation masquerading as a sale. this way you wouldn’t have to deal with keeping track of who pre-ordered what months (or in this case, possibly years) ago or deal with refunds if people change their minds.and people are more willing to donate if they get something out of it (like the previously mentioned candy bars). anyways, it was just a thought. if this ever gets finished, i would add this to the list of Toodles products that i intend to buy when i am not broke…
I’m going to be nominating this thread.
I’m pretty damn excited.
