The MCC isn’t providing the power, the PS2 system is. SNES and NES should both provide 5v.
Tested it on CvS2 and some of the diagonals were funky. Guess ill look into getting a stepup converter.
I don’t have a step-up converter at the moment, but just for shits, I plugged the flash into my MC Cthulhu stick just to see. Seems to work on everything except my PS2 and Wii (via GC controller port). Everything on those works except for the right directional input (I can move up/left/down just fine).
It should work fine through a GC port as long as you connected the V column to the +5v pin, and not the +3.3v pin.
Ah, so the Gamecube outputs 5v and 3.3v on different pins? Didn’t realize that.
Yup. You should be using the three pins on the top. The diagram in rtdzign’s threads also shows three pins for the GBA link cable, and says the use the 3.3v pin on the bottom row for it; I guess the 5v pin isn’t present on that cable.
I’m ordering mine next week. Should be the finishing touch on my latest project (being reviewed on g+)

Have anyone tried a LS-56??? I wanted to know which spring will cause the most resistance for the spark. If anyone have a chart that would be amazing. xD
Have you found one that works without any problems? I know a couple were mentioned, but not sure about performance.
A stepup converter? No I haven’t looked into any yet.
The Spark is not compatible with the LS-56 series. Only JLF. An LS-56 spring is too small to fit inside a JLF. You should try a LS-55 spring instead.
Installed the Spark and it works very well! I’ll probably order a couple more in the future, thanks Toodles!
Glad to hear it, tell your friends
Same here got back from vacation and just installed the replacement board. Works great, no random directions at all.
So just to clear things up, if I want to hook my stick up to my ps2 can I use this stick?
If so how? And if not is it being worked on or should I just give up
Toodles, I’d like to purchase one and have sent you a PM. Are they still available?

Yup. All ordering details are in first post.
Quick question Toodles I just preorderded the Omni from etokki and it uses the paewang pcb…is there in difference when installing the flash using that pcb? Sorry I’m not exactly technical when it comes to this stuff, tho i need to learn
Take a peek at the welcome sheet, it should have what you need.
