hey Toodles, how long you gonna be in Seatown for?
Now…what if someone were to design a casing that held an iPad as the top panel, and then wrote an app to display the controls and somehow managed to get the iPad port to wire to and communicate with a PCB? Now that would be something to behold.

Kind of a good news/bad news post. The housing samples came in, with a more opaque yellow, darkish purple, and a solid black. After testing them all out, I hate to say it but the final housing will be black. You all know I wanted it colorfull, but I’d much rather make a boring looking product that performs perfectly than risk performance for the sake of aesthetics. So, black it is. Order for production housings will be sent asap, and I’ll be cleaning up the pcb layout and getting it ready. We should be on the home stretch now with most of the waiting being for the pcb production; conservative estimate of 8 weeks.

Toodles, I have a question about your Spark PCBs. I know you had them designed for common-ground usage, but any chance you’ll consider making a version which can be used for non-common ground PCBs such as the Paewang Revolution PCB? If not, is there a possible work-around to that?
