When her critical edge hits during a juggle you have to follow up with DNS B(236236B). Save your meter for her Critical Edge, her Brave Edge attacks aren’t natural combos.
She’s a strong character, but she’s not a mixup character. You need to know your opponent’s moveset, have fast reactions, know when to punish your opponent, and have good pressure and spacing to be effective with her. She’s not a difficult character, but she’s by no means a win button.

Who is the new Talim then? I’ve barely had any time with the game so far but I have quickly gone through all of the initially available characters in training mode and this was the first thing that struck me as missing. I haven’t played Soul Calibur since 2 but I thought she was the most fun character back then. Not trying to be a smartass here but if there actually is a replacement for Talim I honestly want to know.

Oh, well that does work, but the timing is tight. Unfortunately, it still does less damage than a launch into super with normal Phyrra.
I guess I’ll take that as “there isn’t one” :). Oh well, I’m finding Raph, Leixia, and ZWEI to be pretty fun anyway. I wish I knew more about this game (like I said I’ve had barely any time with it, and right now I’m at work so can’t get to more in-depth testing)… Are juggles legit combos or is there a way to tech out of them or influence the direction of the juggle? If these juggles I’m finding are actually legit then Leixia does pretty big damage really really easy.
Haven’t bought the game yet but I’m planning to today. Never really played SC other than 2 and in that game I used Nightmare and Assassin. I think in 5 Nightmare will still be my favorite however I’m liking Hilde. One reason I think I’m starting to be a fan of Hilde is because her character design reminds me of Ma Chao, one of the characters I used in the Dynasty Warriors Series. Z.W.E.I looks pretty cool too.
Enjoying the game so far since I’ve got it.
Started out playing with Yoshimitsu and Devil Jin day 1, but as of right now, I’ll be maning Leixia.
Sad that Talim, Zasalamel, Seung-Mina, and Yun-Seung are not in the game. Talim was my main since SCII. 
On another note, Hwang’s in the game, just not his fighting style. You are able to fight Hwang via Quick Play and filtering it though Asia/Japan opponents. You’ll find him after enough time looking for more players.
