I don’t know if this has been said yet, but apparently, from what I’ve seen on the Soul Calibur Wiki (take this with a grain of salt), you can actually unlock Dampierre by beating the Story and Legendary Souls Modes. I’m not entirely sure since I haven’t gotten past the first guy in LS mode. 
I have to wait till Friday for the game here. I remember someone saying you can’t change each character’s VA without changing the rest of the cast. Is this true?

i’m playing natsu and i’m new to 3d games. how exactly do you do just frame moves such as a:6? i attempted this many times yet i can never get it other than the normal version. also i’m not really sure how defense works in this game. seems you can’t attempt to block moves constantly and guarding feels a bit weird to me since some mids look like lows to me. i keep getting hit by button mashers with no answer back. should i be side stepping more or attempt gi’s?
Does anyone have The collectors edition? Want to know if you get the downloadable soundtracks for free…ish
You don’t have to unlock Kilik by beating him in arcade mode. I unlocked him last night after I hit player level 9. I leveled up in the middle of my second arcade run (not having faced Kilik outside of Legendary Souls and not having beaten him there), ragequit, and found him waiting at the character select screen. My theory is that just about anything in this game can be unlocked through player level if you don’t meet the primary requirements, similar to how in GGXX you can get basically everything through playtime.
Since someone asked, Dampierre’s style can be used in CaS. As far as I know, the only styles that can’t be used are Algol and Ezio.

- Some supers are completely retarded.
- Bad offline modes
- Patroklos and Pyrrha (ugh…)
- Mimics (lol)
- Some new characters are more of the same.
- A lot of fighting styles from other characters are still absent.
- No epic soundtrack (sigh…)
The game is fun for moments but definitely is not the same feeling, is not as epic and exciting as the old SC games unfortunately.

Well, that blows. I know he’s unlockable because if he was just DLC, I wouldn’t have just kicked his ass in Quick Battle 5 minutes ago, and all I get is the "Le Bello’s Bluff" title for my win. -_-’
The character customisation in this game is so godlike.
I only got to play the story mode for a little bit last night. Just a few comments:

Also people seem to forget that 17 years has passed since SCIV Setsuka is older and prob got fat or something. She wasn’t cursed like half of the cast.
Sorry, but Dampierre’s only unlockable with DLC at the time. I bought the guide and “Enter DLC Code” is his unlocking requirement
